Found November 17, 2013 on Red's Army:
It’s been a while since we’ve come across a Rajon Rondo trade rumor. Here’s a report involving the Knicks and blatant speculation about the Rockets: Iman Shumpert had a second left knee operation over the summer, the Daily News has learned and it is unclear if the unreported surgery could impact his trade value with the desperate Knicks trying to package Shumpert in a number of proposed deals including one for Boston’s Rajon Rondo. … Of course, the Knicks primary target is Rondo, Boston’s All Star point guard who is currently recovering from knee surgery. The Knicks have been trying to trade Shumpert, Raymond Felton and Amar’e Stoudemire in a complicated deal for Rondo but the rebuilding Celtics has yet to show much interest. Unless the Celtics are blown away with an offer it’s hard to imagine Celtics GM Danny Ainge trading his best player, Rondo, to the rival Knicks. When Isiah Thomas was in charge of the Knicks he tried for months to acquire Kevin Garnett from Minnesota only to ha...

Rondo continues working with Bryan Doo, tries to dunk

Here’s a short vid of Rajon Rondo working with Bryan Doo before the C’s game with the Wolves last night. Minnesota’s CSN affiliate aired the clip, which shows Rajon trying to dunk off of his surgically repaired left leg. Danny Ainge said last week that there is still no timetable for Rondo’s return. I’d say just the fact that he’s trying to dunk is encouraging. To me...

What To Make Of The Latest Rajon Rondo Trade Rumors

It was really only a matter of time before the Rajon Rondo trade rumors started up again and I have to say, these happen to be more surprising then the one’s I’ve seen in the past. Before, there were established players with potential like Greg Monroe, but now it seems the rumors have dropped Rondo’s […]The post What To Make Of The Latest Rajon Rondo Trade Rumors appeared...

Why Rondo Isn't Going to New York Anytime Soon

Over the weekend trade rumors surfaced that the New York Knicks were interested in Rajon Rondo. The rumors, understandably were met with a resounding 'no thanks' from Celtics nation, and a straight out denial from President of Basketball Operations, Danny Ainge. But I suspect some of you are like me, and you'd like to take a deeper dive into it because:1. I want assurance...

Knicks Eager to Trade for Rajon Rondo

With a very rocky start from the New York Knicks, the franchise is looking to move many players around through trade deals. In particular, the Knicks are looking to acquire a point guard who can work well with small forward, Carmelo Anthony. That is where Boston’s all-star point guard, Rajon Rondo, comes in. Dissecting Recent Boston Celtics Trade Rumors

Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge has been steady in his beliefs, and clear in his stance: Rajon Rondo has a future in the Boston Celtics organization. What’s more than that? Ainge has repeatedly said he is not looking to trade his franchise player, calling him the “centerpiece for the future.” History repeats itself, and we have been through this too many...

Rajon Rondo Too Useful as Player, Trade Chip to Waste on Substandard Deals (Podcast)

Rajon Rondo‘s trade value will be a lot higher when he has two operational ACLs. That should go without saying, just like it should go without saying that Rondo, injured or not, should not be shipped out of Boston for just any deal. Trade rumors have swirled around the All-Star point guard for years, but now that games have started and a few teams with high hopes are not off to...

Celtics would accept trade for Amar'e Stoudemire

ESPN reports that the Boston Celtics, as they continue to field but remain unreceptive to offers for Rajon Rondo, are willing to make a deal with the Knicks for a player on a big contract: Amar'e Stoudemire. The move would be a short-term win and a long-term loss for the Knicks. Getting out from under Stoudemire's deal has good parts, but it's only partially guaranteed...

Max’s Opinion on… Rondo to New York?

By Max Marcilla Talks of potential trades between the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics have been all over social media and every NBA rumor mill the past week. The offer that the Knicks potentially offered looks something like this: Now, everyone knows how big of an Iman Shumpert supporter I am, and yes I still do think, despite a let down start to the season, Shump can still...

Celtics aren't tanking and Rajon Rondo's dunking (sort of)

Thus far, and probably until the playoffs, the story of the young NBA season has been the question of tanking and speculating which teams are doing so in order to try to position themselves to acquire one of the holy trinity of next year's vaunted draft class (Jabari Parker, Julius Randle, Andrew Wiggins). For example, Hall of Fame basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski weighed in...

Report: Celtics Willing to Take Amar’e Stoudemire

When it was reported earlier yesterday that the Boston Celtics had no reported interest in trading Rajon Rondo to the New York Knicks, it was thought that any type of deal between the two teams would be dead for this season at least. When it was revealed that the Knicks were trying to get rid […]
