Roy Hibbert is one of the more hot and cold folks on Twitter these days, and if he isn’t Tweeting images of girls pooping on the streets, he is usually calling someone out, even fans. Shane Battier is considered a “class act” and always talks to the media on game days. That is, until his super dirty play that Roy Hibbert called intentional yesterday. And now today, he’s staying quiet, skipping out on his interviews. Hey Shane, if you’re gonna hit someone in the balls, at least grab your own and talk about it afterwards.
What Hibbert Was Up to in OT
Shane Battier has never been one of the most athletic players in the NBA, and at 34 years old he has had to find ever more creative ways to contend with the league’s big bodies and high fliers. His methods tend to attract attention for what his supporters would call “gamesmanship” and his detractors would just call “dirtiness.”
Pacers center Roy Hibbert prefers the latter...

The Indiana Pacers played a great game against the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. Heck, after Paul George made three free throws to give them the lead with 2.2 seconds left, it looked like they were even going to pull off the win. But luckily Miami had Pacers coach Frank Vogel give them an assist.
Vogel inexplicably pulled center Roy Hibbert out of the game...
The Pacers will lock horns with the Miami Heat for a chance to play for an NBA Title. All anyone has been talking about the past few days is this Roy Hibbert block on Carmelo Anthony from the Eastern Conference semi’s.
Of course now everyone wants to know if that block will prevent LeBron James from challenging Hibbert at the rim?

The big question after last night’s thrilling Heat OT win is, of course, why Roy Hibbert was on the bench for the game’s final 2 defensive possessions. As seen above, ball go in without Hibbert, ball stay out with Hibbert. Pacers coach Frank Vogel said he’d have to look at the tape, but would most likely keep Roy in next time. Duh. Hindsight is 20/20, but this time it’s more...
Frank Vogel decided to leave Roy Hibbert on the bench in two key defensive plays late in the Indiana Pacers' overtime loss to the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Alas, Hibbert was on the bench for the deciding moment.
And James made Miami's game-winner seem way too easy.
