LOS ANGELES, CA - MAY 06: Former NBA player Earvin 'Magic' Johnson auctions off an opportunity to play three on three with himself, Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher of the Los Angeles Lakers after accepting the USA TODAY Hollywood Hero award during the USA TODAY Hollywood Hero honoring Magic Johnson at the Beverly Hills Hotel on May 6, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. Rants: Chad Johnson for not remembering he was in a court of law not a football field, slapping your lawyer on the rear maybe funny on a football field but iin a courtroom in front of a judge doesn’t fly real well..yvv9{position:absolute;clip:rect(400px,auto,auto,429px);}payday loans online direct lenders Rants: Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, don’t get me wrong I love Magic Johnson the player, Magic Johnson the analyst keeps flip flopping, Magic pick a side and stay there. If you like the Heat fine like them all the way through don’t flip flop once the Spurs get going. Charles you did play the game once right? Rants:NBA GM’s Can someone show some love and hire Brian Shaw and Patrick Ewing as head coaches? As readers of this post know I have been fond of Ewiing getting a shot a head coaching for some time and it gets annoying to see both he and Brian Shaw get passed over after putting their time in as assistant coaches, only to have someone with no coaching experience get a shot as a head coach, what gives? Raves- New York Mets- for finally pulling the trigger and sending Ike Davis to the minors to get his game in gear. It’s long overdue and this move should have been made earlier much earlier but at least they finally did it. Hopefully he will rebound from this and come back a better hitter than when he left because this team needs all the offense it can get. Raves-Miquel Cabrera- I’m alittle late to jump on this but winning the triple once is a big deal but to contend for the triple crown in back to back years is…amazing. Right now Cabrera leads the American League in Batting (358) RBI’s (69) and is second to Baltimore’ Chris Davis in homeruns (18) to Davis’ (21) and this is in the middle of June, if he stays the course what will be his numbers by the end of the season? Raves-Ahmad Bradshaw - The Colts made a Andrew Luck a happy camper by signning one of the toughest players on the field in Bradshaw. Heleaves it all out on the field. The Giants are going to miss a great deal in their running game, the Colts are going to love the fact that he is a part of their running game. Only down side is the injury bug, if he stays healthy this season, Luck will have even a better season than last. Bradshaw will be tha big of a difference if healthy.
