Rants: Chris Bosh- His comments about the fans leaviing during the later half of game 6, shows a lack of class by the big man. For someone who was missing for most of this series and was used and abused throughout most of game 6 by Tim Duncan, Bosh shouldn’t be talking about the fans at all. Let’s face it if he didn’t get those two big blocks at the end of overtime, no one who care what he said about the fans leaving.
Rants:Aaron Hernandez tight end of the New England Patriots: he is under investigation for possibly shooting a Connecticut man in the face following an argument in mid-February. Just one more black eye the NFL needs another player having trouble with guns.
Rants:Clippers and Celtics with the on again off again now on again trade: Someone make the deal already. None of the parties involved are going to feel comfortable if the deal doesn’t happen. The Celtics have been shopping Garnett for sometime and the need to rebuild and he doesn’t want to be there for that, and for that same reason neither does the coach Doc Rivers want to be in Boston either, so come Clips make the deal.
Raves: Matt Harvey and Zach Wheeler: Met fans have every reason to get excited about the future. Harvey and Wheeler could turn out to be a pair of aces. Both have the stuff and the make up to pitch well in New York.
Raves:Dave Jennings- Sad to hear of the passing of Dave Jennings one of the classier players to play in New York. He played for both the New York football teams (Jets and Giants) and after his playing career he broadcast games for…both the Jets and Giants. He was real good on rules and their interupertations. The most prolific punter in Giants history, Jennings had battled Parkinson’s disease, a chronic degenerative neurological disorder, since 1996. He was 61 years old at the time of his passing.
Raves: Miami Heat for winning their second striaght NBA Title. This didn’t come easy and the Spurs had their chances to win the title too.One word of caution though, they shouldn’t be beating themselves on the chest, just breathe a sigh of relief because the Spurs could have easily been the ones with the trophy.
