Just a few days into the 2013 NBA free agency period, the Washington Wizards 2013-14 roster seems like it is pretty much in place. With the signing of Eric Maynor, and the re-signing of Garrett Temple and Martell Webster, Washington’s roster now sits at 14 people and is all but set barring any trades. The following is a very early prediction of the stats of the 2013-14 Washington Wizards. Starters: PG: John Wall- 19 pts, 8 ast, 4 Rebs, 1.5 stls, 1 blk SG: Bradley Beal- 16 pts, 3 ast, 4 Rebs, 1 stl, 1 blk SF: Martell Webster- 12 pts, 2 ast, 4 Rebs, 1 stl, 1 blk PF: Nene Hilario- 13 pts, 3 ast, 7 Rebs, 1 stl, 1 blk C:  Emeka Okafor- 10 pts, 1 ast, 9 Rebs, 1 blk Bench: PG: Eric Maynor- 6 pts, 3 ast, 2 Rebs SG: Garrett Temple- 5 pts, 2 ast, 2 Rebs, 1 stl SG: Glenn Rice, Jr- 2 pts, 1 ast, 1 reb SG/SF: Trevor Ariza- 10 pts, 2 ast, 5 Rebs, 1 stl SF:  Otto Porter- 10 pts, 3 ast, 5 Rebs, 1 stl, 1 blk SF/PF: Chris Singleton- 5 pts, 1 ast, 4 Rebs, 1 Stl, 1 blk PF: Trevor Booker- 8 pts, 1 ast, 6 Rebs, 1 Stl, 1 blk PF: Jan Vesley- 4 pts, 1 ast, 4 Rebs C:  Kevin Seraphin- 9 pts, 1 ast, 5 Rebs The 2013-14 Washington Wizards Roster seems to be the team’s most complete roster in years. The team is well balanced with both youth and veterans starting and coming off the bench. The Wizards appear to have a roster that can lead them back to the playoffs for the first time since the 2007-08 season. When evaluating the Eastern Conference, it appears that the Wizards have the roster that will give them a good to land at least a 6th spot in the Easter Conference playoff picture. Glen Rice Jr.’s Unorthodox Journey to the NBA

When the Wizards selected Glen Rice Jr. in this past NBA draft, most Wizards fans erroneously thought they selected Glenn Robinson III. A return of #98? Jason Collins played in 32 games for the Celtics last year, starting at center in 7 of them (with minimal success).  He averaged 1.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in just over 10 minutes per game before being dealt to Washington at the trade deadline as part of the Jordan Crawford deal.  Collins appeared in just 6 contests for the Wizards, and is now an unrestricted...
