New York Sports-Kings:
According to Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld.com, the Knicks and Magic are discussing a deal that would send Iman Shumpert to the Magic for J.J. Redick.
There is no offer on the table, and Kennedy believes there may have to be a third team involved.
Shumpert would help Orlando’s rebuilding process, while Redick would help the Knicks, who are win now mode. The Knicks signed veterans in the offseason in order in make a title run. The Knicks are the oldest team in the league currently, and feel their shot to win a title is now. Shumpert is coming off of an ACL tear and is just now getting back into the rotation.
While this would seem to solidify the Knicks’ starting rotation, they would also be giving up their youngest asset. The Knicks have hit a wall as of late, and find themselves four games behind in the Heat for the number one seed in the Conference. We will be hearing plenty of rumors during the days coming up to the trade deadline.
Here is the tweet Kennedy sent out:
The Magic and Knicks have discussed a J.J. Redick for Iman Shumpert trade. Other players (and maybe a third team) would have to be involved.

It seems the San Antonio Spurs involvement in trade talks keeps growing, this time it has to do with Orlando Magic shooting guard J.J. Redick.
ESPN's Marc Stein tweeted late Wednesday night that the Spurs are indeed interested in acquiring the guard from Orlando as is pretty much every team in the league.
Add one more team to list of those showing interest in @JJRedick...
The Pacers, Bucks, Bulls and Wolves have been interested in J.J. Redick.
ORLANDO, Fla. J.J. Redick and Jameer Nelson have been down this road before.
So far, its a road that has never led them out of Orlando. In terms of continuous service with the Magic, they are the undisputed leaders on the current roster, as well as two of the few remaining ties to the 2009 Eastern Conference champions.
But with the Magics six-year playoff run coming to an end...
The Bucks would only trade for J.J. Redick if they can find a deal involving Monta Ellis.

The three teams most likely to make major moves before the trade deadline are the Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns.
Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports that those are the three teams to watch as Thursday's NBA trade deadline approaches. This isn't a surprise. The Hawks are looking to move star forward Josh Smith. The Bucks are willing to trade...
It’s no secret that the Knicks are notoriously slow starters in the 1st quarter. It has become a growing trend where the Knicks open up with a dreadful 1st quarter, play a good 2nd quarter to cut the halftime deficit to a reasonable margin, trade leads in the 3rd and then hope to gain an edge in the 4th quarter and pull away. Although the Knicks are statistically one of the...
The Magic are back from their break and preparing to take on the Bobcats as the beginning of their push to the end of the season. The Playoffs are getting further out of reach and the team has been limping for a few months now. It is frustrating to watch for sure.
There is still work the Magic can do and still work the Magic must do in the final months of the season. Remember...
