LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The aging San Antonio Spurs came out of the All-Star break rested and raring to go. They notched their second win since the break ended and fifth in a row, beating the Los Angeles Clippers 116-90 on Thursday night behind 31 points from Tony Parker. "Tony's been a huge part of us playing that well. He's been the one who is most consistent," said Tim Duncan, who had nine points. "Everything kind of clicked together. We made a lot of shots. They just couldn't get their footing." The Spurs led all the way in beating the Clippers for the first time this season and improving to an NBA-best 22-10 on the road, where they've also won five in a row. "It was a complete butt-kicking from the start in every way you can count," Clippers coach and former Spurs player Vinny Del Negro said. Parker had seven assists and no turnovers in 28 minutes and Danny Green added 15 points. The West-leading Spurs tied their season-best with 5...

Spurs shopping Blair for best offer?

For a while now it has seemed like the clock was running out on DeJuan Blair’s time with the San Antonio Spurs. The fourth year big man has seen his minutes reduced this season, only seeing the floor in blowouts and when the starters need some extra rest. Blair isn’t bringing much to the table. It’s not his fault. The Spurs are just so deep that they don’t really need...

Video: ESPN debates TP vs. CP3. Who do you got?

ESPN's Skip Bayless hasn't been shy about his love for the Spurs. He's even gone so far as saying that they're "his" San Antonio Spurs, so it won't come as a surprise that a player in a silver and black jersey gets his nod for NBA MVP this season. Apparently, Chris Paul is in charge of the Clippers front office (he would probably be better than some of the people they have had in the past). According the Bleacher Report, CP3 tried to get KG to waive his no-trade clause so he could be dealt to LA, but KG wasn’t having it. Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald found that Chris Paul spoke to KG prior to the deadline and made...

Report: Kevin Garnett Told by Chris Paul That He Could Make Trade to Clippers Happen, But Garnett Said No

Everyone listen close now: This man bleeds green! While Kevin Garnett was emphatic in the days leading up to the NBA trade deadline that he did not want to play for anyone but Boston, that didn’t keep other teams from trying to make a move for him. That included the Clippers, who were among the prime trade partners, with Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan reportedly on the block in...
