Found December 20, 2012 on Beyond The Buzzer:
Steve Nash worked through his first full-contact practice with the Lakers since suffering a non-displaced leg fracture in the second game of the season. After Thursday morning’s practice, Nash said, “It felt pretty good.  It went well.  Maybe I felt a little bit better than I thought I’d feel, but we’ll see how it feels in the morning.  It’s obviously a big barometer.” Nash noted that the Christmas Day game Tuesday against the New York Knicks might be more “realistic,” but that a return on Saturday against the Golden State Warriors remains a possibility. “It depends on how well I respond today and tomorrow,” said Nash. “We don’t really need to rush it.  I don’t want to come back too soon…. I don’t want to miss another 10 games because I aggravated it.” via Los Angeles Times Nash on when he’ll return to game action: “I think Christmas is probably the most realistic.” Saturday at GSW just a possibility. — Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) December 20, 2012

Nash returns to Lakers practice, but can he save Los Angeles' season?

If Steve Nash cannot help save the Los Angeles Lakers, then what? It is an honest question to consider these days. It takes more than just Kobe. This much we know. But right now Lakers' fans do not even want to go there. They apparently only want a healthy Nash available and those pesky Pau Gasol rumors to go away -- or is it just for Gasol to go away? If Thursday's...

Nash to return soon and Gasol will be on the court late in games

Laker Nation Roundtable: We Predict the Lakers Future

Jordan Grant: With the talent the Lakers have, the injuries they’ve faced, the adjustments they’ve had to make, and their overall lack of effort so far, there is no doubt the Lakers have hit their bottom. The team continues to show us glimpses of what they are capable of, followed by long streaks of effortless play, only to try and comeback and win games. This is a pattern that...

Lakers Need to Make a Statement Against the Warriors

Photo courtesy of Jeff Gross | Getty ImagesAfter watching the enigmatic Los Angeles Lakers squeak by the lowly Charlotte Bobcats Tuesday night, I concluded that when the Los Angeles Lakers take the floor Saturday night against the Golden State Warriors (17-8), it should undoubtedly be played as a statement game. Both teams need to play with added intensity, but it’s the Lakers who...

Report Card: Bobcats @ Lakers

AP Photo/Chris CarlsonThe Lakers were able to defeat the Charlotte Bobcats and extend their winning streak to 3 games. With Pau back in the lineup the team was still not able to successfully run their half-court offense when both Pau and Dwight were in the game together. They got away with doing that tonight, but if the Lakers really want to win a championship they will need to find...
