Wade County? It is in new Jordan Brand spot (Video)

It’s not quite how Dwyane Wade spent the offseason, considering his offseason is ongoing. But Wade’s latest Jordan Brand spot takes him to all the Miami-Dade hoops hot spots (except, of course, AmericanAirlines Arena). It also features Chris Paul with similar visits in New Orleans and Carmelo Anthony owning the courts in New York. The “Love the Game” spot debuted during Monday...

Dwyane Wade’s Magnum Opus

By the time he said Jokers are wild if you wanna be tame/I treat you like a child then you’re gonna be named I already knew my ears were thanking me. Lyrics flowed like Niagara, perfectly and precisely. The perfect voice. The perfect MC. Words were his butter, and the track was his toast. Extra [...]

LeBron James Tweets that Tim Tebow is ‘Just a Winner’

From one accomplished champion to another: You know what they say: it takes a winner to spot a winner. In case you’re keeping score at home, that’s the second time LeBron has expressed support for Tebow via Twitter. The last time, LeBron defended Tebow from the evil criticism of Merril Hoge. Without the NBA, everyone has to find a way to keep up with their hoops...

Come on, LeBron James. You know good and well that Carmelo Anthony wiped the sun dried tomato cream cheese from that bench bagel off his upper lip like five minutes ago. And you definitely know how self-conscious he is about having shmootz on his face in front of all these people at the U.S. Fleet Tracking Basketball Invitational exhibition game in Oklahoma City. Kevin Durant&...

NBA ‘Change the Game’: Eliminate the charge

(As NBA owners decide how many more games they’re willing to lose to the lockout, perhaps it is time to consider gains that can be made when the league returns. In our latest lockout series, we look at changes that could produce an improved product.) Issue: Should “getting in the way” remain an integral part of basketball defense? The block-charge call already has become...
