Taj Gibson left the Bulls blowout loss to the Thunder on Sunday night with what was deemed a sprained knee.  An MRI revealed a sprained MCL for the Bulls backup PF. According to the Chicago Tribune: At least Gibson’s MRI didn’t reveal a torn ACL, although it did confirm a sprained MCL that could sideline the defensive-minded forward up to two weeks. Fortunate, too, is the fact the Cavaliers come to town Tuesday, a team the Bulls have solved 11 straight times by an average of 17.8 points.  

Bulls' Taj Gibson sprains knee, could miss two weeks

During last night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Taj Gibson suffered a knee injury that could sideline him for two weeks.  The Chicago Bulls' guard suffered the injury in the fourth quarter and had to leave the game.  Unless more damage is discovered, Gibson should be back sooner rather than later, but it's still a tough blow for the already short-handed...

Taj Gibson Out Up To 2 Weeks With MCL Sprain

The Bulls are already dealing with a banged-up Joakim Noah and do not have much consistent big men depth behind Taj Gibson off the bench.
