The Washington Wizards and Phoenix Suns made a trade centering around Marcin Gortat and Emeka Okafor. (ESPN.com) While this helps the Wiz short-term, Gortat is in the final year of his contract. Meanwhile, the Suns may have as many as four first-round picks next year.
Contrary to earlier reports, the Los Angeles Lakers apparently do want to sign Kobe Bryant to an extension. (Slamonline)

Looks like Jamaal Tinsley is still kicking around as the Utah Jazz have brought back the 35-year-old point guard (NBA.com)
Speaking of the Jazz, reports are indicating that they remain far apart in contract talks with Gordon Hayward (ProBasketballTalk)
The Daily Dish video of the day belongs to Steve Nash with this nice over the shoulder pass.
And last, but certainly not least, the Daily Dish woman of the day belongs to Andre Drummond‘ s galpal, Jennette McCurdy.
