Kurt Thomas has been in the NBA for what seems like 100 years now but I rarely see him getting any dap. For someone who’s been around so long I feel like we should have picked up a nugget or two of information about him but that’s not the case. He’s just as mysterious as what’s in that briefcase in Ronin. Well all of that is changing starting right now. Here’s the most interesting article about Kurt Thomas ever (yes, ever!).
In college, at TCU, he was only the third player in history to lead the NCAA in both scoring and rebounding. The other two guys that did it didn’t suck: Hank Gathers and the X-man Xavier McDaniel.
Kurt Thomas was drafted 10th overall in the 1995 NBA Draft. He was selected directly after Ed O’Bannon and right before the Shaq of the MAC Gary Trent, and Cherokee Parks. Ya, let that marinade for a second.
Kurt Thomas has played for 9 different teams in his 18 year career. Every year he has worn the number 40 except for one, part of the 2007-08 season with the Seattl...

J.R. Smith involved in racy message exchange
JR Smith is quite the ladies’ man. The New York Knicks guard has had dalliances with the likes of musicians Rihanna and K. Michelle. He has dated the large-bottomed ex-girlfriend of rapper Joe Budden, and this heavily-tattooed model. Smith is in high demand when it comes to the ladies, so excuse him if he just gets right to the point when he senses a woman is interested in him...
Knicks Shopping Ronnie Brewer?
Sources tell me the #Knicks are shopping Ronnie Brewer. Not sure for who. J. O’Neal (via trade) & L. Amundson (via pickup) are also targets.

New York Knicks – Time To Cut Back Jason Kidd’s Playing Time
The New York Knicks are coming off their ugliest loss of the season by far, falling to conference rivals Indiana Pacers 125-91 on the road last night. The Knicks picked up right where they left off going into the All-Star break, opening a window for the Brooklyn Nets that they have clearly been taking advantage of. The Knicks have dropped their last three games, and the Nets are...
You Trying to Get the Pipe? JR Smith Makes Light of Controversial Twitter Direct Message
As Deadspin reported, Knicks Guard/Forward JR Smith is smooth with the ladies. Some would call him a modern-day Shakespeare, or a Casanova if you will. After this screenshot of a Twitter Direct Message with a High School senior went public, JR Smith made light of the situation with the following Instagram post:
Well played, JR. Well played.
Oh, and you know it’s only a...
Inappropriate Text Leaks Between J.R. Smith And High School Senior
J.R. Smith is no stranger to controversy. Last season, he sent out a Twitpic of half naked model, Tahiry, which he was later fined $25K for. This summer he was arrested for driving without a license, and photographed smoking weed in the same week.
It seems 2013 was yearning for some J.R. drama. According to Deadspin, while on a road trip to Philadelphia on January 26th, Smith was...
Report: Knicks make offer of Stoudemire and Shumpert for Josh Smith
newshopper.sulekha.com
In a report by Alex Kennedy, the Knicks may have made an offer to the Atlanta Hawks for Josh Smith. According to Kennedy, the Knicks may have offered Amar’e Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert to the Hawks for Josh Smith and a salary cap filler.
The deal makes a lot of sense for the Knicks, who are strapped against the salary cap for the next two years. Stoudemire...
