bron The One Thing I Will Not Miss About The NBA Lockout, Lebron James

I love the NBA. I hope **** gets resolved as soon as possible. But watching this video was like having a bad acid flashback. Just sat there thinking, oh yeah, Lebron is the biggest scumbag in the world, maybe not having to watch him showboat and act like the man all season long wouldn’t be the worst thing. If every bad situation has a silver lining, Lebron James currently not being in my life is most definitely that silver lining.

Men at work: LeBron hits the court with Durant (Video)

They have spent time in exhibitions together, such as Tuesday, when LeBron James scored 43 points in a charity game just outside of Memphis, with Kevin Durant scoring 29 for the opposition. LeBron’s team won that one 158-151, with the usually theatrics amid minimal defense. For James and Durant, it was the latest tag-team effort amid the NBA lockout, which previously included Durant...

Video: LeBron completes awesome dunk, follows with weirdest handshake ever

LeBron James has made dunks like this one before. In a charity game setting like this one in Memphis on Tuesday night, he went off the glass to himself for a thundrous tomahawk. It's amazing, but a play that's become old hat for the most amazing physical specimen in NBA history. Still, plays like this one continue to tell us a lot about LeBron. For instance, he clearly has...

Video: LeBron James, Kevin Durant train together

In some fans’ minds, Kevin Durant and LeBron James are polar opposites on the NBA spectrum. Durant represents what is “good” — staying with you team, being humble — and LeBron represents the NBA player ego run amok. Of course, it’s not that clean and simple (LeBron stayed in Cleveland at the same point in…

LeBron, Durant work out in Akron

One of the biggest trends that emerged during the NBA lockout has been web-isodes from various athletes giving fans an inside look at how these guys train, play and chill. LeBron James ecently released Striving for Greatness episode one which features he and fellow NBA star Kevin Durant working out in Akron, Oh. Does this mean we can expect further episodes featuring...

LeBron James -- King of the Jews' ... Basketball League

Shocking -- LeBron James played a basketball game in Ohio last night, the same state where they lit his jersey on fire last year. More Shocking -- Dude was a last minute fill-in for a team at the Mandel Jewish Community Center, where he instantly became… Permalink

LeBron James to Play Flag Football Against Kevin Durant

We may not have any true NBA action to watch, but there’s always flag football! *Sigh* KD and LBJ are set to square off on the gridiron later this month. Per LeBron’s Twitter feed: “Its all set people! Nov.30th Team @Kingjames vs Team @KDTrey5 in Flag football. Its going down. Can’t wait(Bart Scott voice) Lol.”

What Does This Video Of LeBron And Durant Working Out Have To Do With Penn State?

To answer the question posed in the above title quickly and clearly: absolutely nothing. Nothing at all. I know it might come as a surprise to many of you, but the Sportress of Blogitude is geared more to be something of a sports humor sight — I know, shocking — and as alluded to and [...]

Video: LeBron Dunks, Won’t Hi-Five a Fan

Here’s an amusing video of LeBron James throwing down a big dunk at Rudy Gay’s charity game last night in Memphis. He was too busy mean-mugging the crowd to give a fan the dap she so desperately craved. (H/T: Hoopmixtape)

LeBron James’ Message to Fans: ‘Stay With Us. Just Stay With Us’

After taking part in Rudy Gay’s charity hoops game last night in Memphis, LBJ addressed the fans in attendance, asking them to remain patient with the NBA’s labor standoff. From the Commercial Appeal: “When the two-hour all-star showcase ended, Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay grabbed a microphone and thanked the fans for showing up. The biggest star in the building, LeBron James...

Reyes is touring the new Miami Marlins ballpark today

I wrote this on Monday: PLEASE tell me this situation isn’t going to be Lebron James 2.0. Let’s go through this, if Reyes goes to Miami, it is because: His friend Hanley Ramirez plays there. The weather is nice He likes the direction of the organization. Lebron James went to Miami because: His friends, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, signed there too. The weather is nice. He...

Gay, James play high-scoring exhibition (AP)

Rudy Gay and LeBron James are already in midseason form. All they need is a place to play. Just hours after the NBA Players' Association told Commissioner David Stern it would not accept the owners' take-it-or-leave-it offer, some of basketball's biggest stars put on quite a show. Gay, the Memphis Grizzlies forward, hosted an exhibition game on Tuesday night -- and points...
