By Jeff Rosenberg – Staff Writer Welcome back everyone. This week we shift back to the East. Before we dive into the typical facets of my weekly article, lets kick this Eastern Conference write-up off by paying homage to The King. LeBron James put on a clinic last night at the Triple A in Miami, posting 31/8/8 with two steals. He made his first eight field goals, and was an absolute enigma for the Bobcats D. Amazing night for LeBron, even if he did miss a jumper in the lane (13-14 from the field). Good news for James owners and Pat Riley, LBJ has not yet peaked. Better days ahead. Back to the matter at hand. Lets get into it… BEASTS OF THE EAST (Eastern Conference Players under 50% owned, endorsed by me) SG/SF Kyle Singler (DET) (16% Owned): Since the Rudy Gay trade (Jan. 30th), Singler has drawn the start at the three for the Pistons in all four of their games, getting 30, 36, 40 and 25 minutes. Byron Mullens scores 15 with three 3-pointers, 7 boards and a block

Byron Mullens played fewer minutes (18) in his second game back from an ankle injury, but he still produced: 15 points, three 3-pointers, seven rebounds, three assists and a block. Two nights ago, Mullens logged 28 minutes for 12 points (5-14 FG), two 3-pointers, nine rebounds, an assist and two blocks. Mullens gives you threes out of the center position. That's the advantage...

Kidd-Gilchrist out with concussion

You do not see the same types of injuries during a basketball game that you would watching football. It is sad, but seeing players lie motionless after a big hit or get carted off the field has become almost routine during football games. In basketball, there are not any pads, so if someone takes a blow to the head and gets knocked unconscious, it’s a scary moment. Charlotte...

Cavs (14-34) VS. Bobcats (11-36) - Game 49

OPENING TIP The Cavs typically havent had much luck against the leagues worst in the Kyrie Irving era. But such is not the case vs. the Bobcats. The Cavs have beaten them five straight. And after getting an earful from Byron Scott about performing less-than-stellar against doormats, the Cavs are looking to bring it from the start against the leagues worst team, record-wise. Venue...

Our hometown heroes are facing an uphill climb against a superior Heat team tonight. Reeling after 3 straight losses, can the Cats take a trip down to South Beach and win a tilt against the defending champs? The team looks for a boost with the return of Byron Mullens to the lineup for the first time since his ankle injury on December 22nd. Welcome back Mully, we missed you...
