Let me start by saying that I had to whip this up real quick.  I’ve got a long car ride coming up tomorrow and I have to sleep at least a few hours so I’m around to author this blog come Sunday morning.  I’m also in a pretty lousy mood, apparently.  I didn’t even realize the extent of it until I re-read this sh!t.  It’s bursting at the seams with negativity.   There is a new low point in Bobcats franchise history.  Coming off of a blowout loss to the Wizards that made them the worst team in the NBA, Coach Paul Silas started Kemba Walker, Gerald Henderson, Tyrus Thomas, Boris Diaw, and DeSagana Diop against Philly.  This resulted in a 10-point first quarter that was so ugly it inspired the aforementioned Coach Silas to get himself tossed.  I hope he didn’t bother to watch the rest of the game on TV because it only got worse.  Down by 23 early in the third… the Bobcats resorted to running a Tyrus Thomas/DeSagana Diop pick and roll.  I sh!t you...

Something to Look Forward to For Bobcats Fans

Wow! What a week for the Charlotte Bobcats. Those of you that have read my rambling in the past know that I prefer not to go off on tirades on the current and very dire straits of the franchise. With that in mind, the above words are about the only thing I can really say. [...]

Dumpster Grease Tire Fire Train Wreck Plane Crash

Like a recurring nightmare, the Bobcats and Wizards played again on Saturday night.  My first impression was astonishment at what a large, lively crowd was on hand in Charlotte.  Who were all of these self-flagellators, and is there a Guinness Book of World Records category for “Most Masochists in a Single Room”? At least they [...]

Desagana Diop has a One-Foot Shooting Range

As you can see in Desagana Diop's free throw last night, anything outside of a foot has a rare chance of going in. At least the technique is there, unlike Chuck Hayes and Joakim Noah. Do big men still have to make 10 free throws in a row before they leave practice? [Follow me @TravisHouser]

Observations: Bobcats at Sixers

? The Bobcats really didn’t think Gerald Henderson (back bruise) would play Friday, but he toughed it out. Probably didn’t hurt that Henderson is from Philadelphia and this was the…Click to Continue »
