Nuggets 117, Knicks 94

Carmelo Anthony's return to the Pepsi Center was a flop Wednesday night when Wilson Chandler scored 24 points and the Denver Nuggets blew out the ailing New York Knicks 117-94. The Nuggets led by as many as 34 points on the way to winning their 10th straight game and 14th straight at home. This one was such a laugher that their starters didn't play the fourth quarter. ...

JaVale McGee dunks all over Hamed Haddadi, then bows to him (video)

By now, we should all accept that not only is JaVale McGee a talented basketball player, he in also an interesting bird. Odds are whenever his name comes up, it usually involves something peculiar, amusing, or both. The Denver Nuggets were in Arizona on Monday to take on the Phoenix Suns at US Airways Center. About midway through the 4th quarter, McGee was on the receiving end of...

Nuggets Coach George Karl Thinks Denver Should Retire Carmelo Anthony’s Jersey Some Day

Carmelo Anthony does not have many people in his corner in Denver anymore. The franchise has moved on with a younger and cheaper roster that is still winning games at a playoff-caliber pace. Every player except Ty Lawson has moved on since Anthony’s departure in 2011. Fans have clearly moved on as well. The former Nuggets superstar is expected to be booed vehemently when he makes...

Carmelo doesn’t think return to Denver will be emotional

Carmelo Anthony, now in his third season with the New York Knicks, is finally making the trip back to Denver to face the team who drafted him. Melo was dealt to the Knicks in 2011 for Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton and other pieces. Since the trade that shaped both teams for what seems to be the better, Carmelo has still to play a game in Denver against the Nuggets...

New York Knicks Open West Coast Trip With Disaster

Last night was the type of game for the New York Knicks you almost want to act like didn’t happen. 63 points against a Golden State team who is abysmal on defense? That is a joke and there is no excuse for that type of effort. This team has their share of issues but that was a Charlotte Bobcats-esque performance and one that worries you about how the Knicks will carry themselves...

PHOENIX -- With about seven weeks separating us from the third Phoenix Suns-free playoff experience in a row, the Denver Nuggets rolled into U.S. Airways Center. But after Monday's 108-93 victory, the Nuggets are (43-22) and have won nine games...
