Emeka Okafor and the Washington Wizards came rolling in to Time Warner Cable Arena for another Monday night “nobody but the fans really care about” game this evening. Back then we were a lottery bound team with some hope for the future as opposed to now when we’re… well, pretend I didn’t say anything. If for no other reason than matters of pride and morale, the Cats are a team badly in need of something to smile about. In recent weeks there have been articles where players around the league have said that Time Warner is the NBA building with the absolute least semblance of a home court advantage, comments that current coach Mike Dunlap wasn’t even on our list of finalists for the job, and speculation that Micha...

Dimes for Dimes: John Wall and the Contract Game

John Wall has been playing some inspired basketball lately Ever since the 2010 NBA Draft, the Wizards have been for the most part, blessed by the presence of a Johnathan Hildred Wall Jr. on their team. Not only for the 16 points and eight assists he brings to the court on a nightly basis, but also for the cost of said production. Even though Wall was the top pick in the draft, he...

Which Players Should Be A Part of the Wizards Organization Moving Forward?

With only 16 games to go until the off-season commences for the Washington Wizards and with the playoffs out of reach, it’s only fitting to start looking ahead to what the roster should look like moving forward. There have been some real bright spots (Mart3ll) and some real duds (Sorry Jan) on the roster this season, so Trevor Jackson (@tjackson85) and Cory Grubbs (@CoryGrubbs10...

Suns take on Wizards

The Washington Wizards have rolled to a winning streak on their home floor, but they haven't been able to match that success on the road. If history is any indication, they might have a difficult time putting an end to those woes Wednesday night. Washington Wizards ready to offer max deal to John Wall

Please Stay Awhile, Mart3ll

When the Wizards made the late addition of Martell Webster to the 2012-13 roster, there was no big press conference, no fanfare, and to be quite honest, the reception amongst media and bloggers was fairly subdued. The good news is that Martell has shown to be more than just a one dimensional player as some alluded to. Seven months later, the Wizards now find themselves with a...

Gerald Henderson had 27 points and Walker came up with a flurry of big plays in the closing minutes helping the Bobcats overcome a five-point...
