Pass The Pill:
The Orlando Magic are adding pieces to their young garden of versatile players. None more exciting than Rookie, and number 2 overall draft pick, Victor Oladipo. Victor continues to impress off the bench for the Magic, showing an a knack for defense and great athleticism in the open court. Oladipo steals the ball from Brooklyn Nets’ point guard, Deron Williams, and finishes the break with a monster 360 dunk. This big slam by Oladipo pushed the Magic lead to 82-61 over the visiting Nets on Sunday night in Orlando. The Magic held on to defeat the favored Nets by a score of 107-86. Oladipo finished with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals, as Orlando foiled Jason Kidd’s head coaching debut. Brook Lopez led all scorers with 21 points, as the Nets dropped to 1-2 on the young season. The Magic are now 2-2, with a long road of building ahead. Coming into his first NBA season, the buzz surrounding No. 2 overall draft pick Victor Oladipo centered mostly on his commitment to putting defensive pressure on perimeter players and his ability to thrill crowds with his athleticism off the bounce and on the fast break. I’m starting to think that maybe Victor Oladipo and the Orlando Magic team didn’t get the memo about tanking from the front office. Whatever the case, the Magic are playing some good basketball and have racked up some wins against quality opponents. The latest victim was Deron Williams and the Brooklyn Nets. Watch below as […]
Magic rookie Victor Oladipo has been quite the player in his first three games. The Magic's lottery pick, Victor Oladipo, stole the show in Jason Kidd's coaching debut in a bad loss for the Nets
In what was most definitely a letdown from their huge win on Friday night in Brooklyn, the Nets got destroyed tonight by the Orlando Magic in Jason Kidd's head-coaching debut. With the odd early-evening timing of the game, maybe it was sleepiness...
This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Orlando Magic basketball. Orlando Magic Daily loves celebrating Magic history (probably too much). And so each day this season, we...

But over the two hours that followed, youngsters Maurice Harkless, Victor Oladipo, Kyle O'Quinn and Nik Vucevic offered hope for the future.
