On a team full of NBA stars there is no question that Russell Westbrook is the most athletic of the bunch. Westbrook’s combination of speed, explosiveness, jumping ability, and strength are hard to match. In Team USA’s win over Argentina yesterday Westbrook put all these skills on display with a monster dunk.
In the 4th quarter Westbrook received a pass from LeBron James at the free throw line. From there is was time for Westbrook to work his magic. Westbrook took one dribble than threw down a monster dunk on an Argentina defender. That was a poster dunk. Westbrook received a technical after the dunk for taunting.
Things got a little chippy in the USA game versus Argentina. The US lead by 1 at halftime but blew the game wide open in the 3rd quarter. The play that ended the 4th quarter is drawing all the headlines today.
