Last week saw the NBA season commence and as expected it did not disappoint. Many believe that there are only two possible winners, Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder. Below we will assess both sides’ chances. Miami Heat Head Coach: Erik Spoelstra Key Player: LeBron James The Heat swept away the competition last year, winning 27 games on the trot. Titan Bet price them at 2/1 in the best odds for the NBA to win this year’s title, and these short odds exemplify just how good this side is. LeBron James has been named the league’s MVP for the past two years and is considered by many as the best player in the league. James is pivotal to the Heat’s chances; if he continues with his impressive form then he can lead his side to glory. However, Miami are not a one man side; they are packed with quality with the likes of Dwyane Wade, Greg Oden, Chris Bosh and Ray Allen all more than capable of carrying their side through a tight season. With a squad as talented as this it is hard to imagine Miami not retaining their title. Oklahoma City Thunder Head Coach: Scott Brooks Key Player: Kevin Durant The Thunder lost last season’s Western Conference semi-finals but they are expected to be in the NBA final this time around. Titan Bet’s current NBA betting price of 6/1 highlights just this. Kevin Durant is the other side of the intriguing LeBron James MVP coin, finishing runner-up to him in the last two years. Durant is vital to the Thunder and at times carries the team; he needs to produce another 50-40-90 season to give his side a chance. Besides Durant, the Thunder have Serge Ibaka, who is regarded as one of the best shot-blockers in the league, and point guard Russell Westbrook also oozes quality. The Thunder have a good shot at going all the way this year. Most experts have concluded that this season will be decided by which star player performs better: LeBron James or Kevin Durant. LeBron Refuses To Answer Question About Signing With Raptors As Free Agent

LeBron James has a cool sense of humor, so I can only wonder if he totally wanted to buss out laughing when a Toronto reporter asked him about free agency. According to the Toronto Sun, James was asked, jokingly, if  he would consider signing with the Toronto Raptors in free agency. “I’m not answering free agent questions,” said the league’s best player, failing to completely...

LeBron Clowns Raptors Late In Game

LeBron James didn't make himself a friend of the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night. Not only did LeBron dominate the game, scoring 35 points on just 20 shots, he also showboated as the clock ticked down in the fourth quarter. As LeBron took the ball past halfcourt with a little over a minute remaining, he danced to the arena music while dribbling. Not surprisingly, the Raptors...

LeBron James Has Been Dealing with Back Spasms for Weeks

LeBron James, also known as the best player in the world, did not have a great game last night against the Los Angeles Clippers. This was his final stat-line: 18 points (6-for-13), 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 steal, 4 turnovers. Sure, it’s still a good stat-line, but take a look at LeBron’s averages before this ...The post LeBron James Has Been Dealing with Back Spasms for Weeks...

WATCH: Jonas Valanciunas throws down on LeBron James

We have to admit that this play is a little unfair to LeBron James, as Jonas Valanciunas’ dunk is the result of Shane Battier leaving his man in order to make a feeble attempt at drawing a charge. But, regardless of LeBron being forced into sudden help duty, he still got in the air to challenge the shot. Hence: posterization. It’s okay, LeBron, it happens to the best of ‘em...

LeBron James Does A Little Dance Before Sealing A Win

In today’s episode of “NBA Players Being Dicks”, we have three fine examples of troll-ish behavior — all from Tuesday night. First up is Dennis Schroeder of the Atlanta Hawks, who put the “dick” in “NBA Players Being Dicks” with this shot to DeMarcus Cousins’ Man Zone. A retaliatory move by Cousins garnered him the second slot on our list, after this shove of Al...

In The Scrum With LeBron James

LeBron James talked with the media about his legacy, why Floyd Mayweather is an athlete he respects, the challenges in facing a young Toronto Raptors team, and getting geared up mentally for all 82 games.

LeBron On Verge of Milestone

If all goes according to plan, LeBron James will reach a pretty impressive milestone on Tuesday night against the Toronto Raptors. King James currently has scored double-digit points in 499 games. LeBron would join a very exclusive club; only four players in NBA history have scored at least 10 points in at least 500 consecutive games (Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl...

Raptors’ Jonas Valanciunas Dunks On LeBron James (Video)

Bron-Bron is slipping, but it’s OK because he’s the king. The Heat beat the Raptors by 9 on Tuesday night, and were led By LeBron James who scored in double figures for the 500th straight game. The Heat were not focused on defense without Chris Bosh last night and it showed, particularly on this play were Raptors rugged and talented forward Jonas Valanciunas dunked over James...

Watch: Dwyane Wade lifts Heat past Clippers

In the first meeting between the two teams that many feel could face each other in this year’s NBA Finals, Dwyane Wade came up with a huge fourth quarter to propel the Miami Heat to a 102-97 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, delivering a win for head coach Erik Spoelstra in his 400th regular-season game as Miami’s bench boss. In a performance that resembled the pre-Lebron...
