Well I’m sure most of you have heard by now that we have lost Marc Gasol to a tear of the abdomen. Who knew he had abs? More sit-ups this offseason Marc! So right as we get one Gasol brother back from injury, we lose the other, and it couldn’t have come at a worse time with playoffs going currently going on. Marc has been labeled “out indefinitely”. Personally, I hate that label. What it should say is “We have no flippin clue when he’ll be back or if he will be back”. If I’m a Marc Gasol owner and playoffs are starting this week, I can’t afford to let him just rot on my bench, so I’m adding Ed Davis (11/8/5blk) who filled in nicely last night. Another nice add is Darrell Arthur (18/7/2) but I would much rather own Davis. Both should see a ton of run regardless of whether they are starting or not. Also, Jared Bayless (30/4/3) looks to benefit as well as he was red hot last night while playing nearly 39 minutes. All three are nice adds for the stretch run if you are looking for the pl...

Comments from the Other Side - Grizzlies 3/23

I was very surprised to see how few Grizzlies fans were posting on the boards.  Maybe some of the usual posters were at the game but given the fact that there were also plenty of Celtics fans at the game and how successful the Grizz have been,  you would think there would be more fans posting.  I had to laugh at the reaction to Tony's foul on the 3 at the end.  I recall so...

Memphis 110, Boston 106: Paul Pierce and company fall to Grizzlies despite late-game resurgence

After watching college a lot of college basketball for the last three days this game was filled with well-executed offense, decisive shot takers and makers, and actual dribble penetration. Not to go all NBA elitist on you all, as even a Saturday night bout between two playoff teams did not render half of the energy as the round of 32 yielded in the tournament. But enough of basketball...

NBA Rundown – March 25th, 2013

Alex Brandon/AP Photo Breakthrough: The Memphis Grizzlies, without their giant cuddly Marc Gasol bear in the middle, witnessed the first player in this season to drop 40+ points on them since Westbrook in the 2011 playoffs. And that player was none other than John Wall, who answered every single critic with a career high 47 points on 13 of 22 shooting, 7 rebounds and 8 assists to...
