PLAYERS: David Stern
Eight games in and WaPo is already pushing “worst team ever” headlines. So, while the Wiz try to convince David Stern to ditch the lottery and just give them the No. 1 pick already, let’s take a look at what that really means. Here, courtesy of this site I’ve never heard of but am totally trusting from a data standpoint, are the 10 worst NBA teams of all time: 1. The 1973 76ers, 9-73 (.110) 2. The 1948 Steam Rollers, 6-42 (.125) 3. The 1993 Mavericks, 11-71 (.134) 3. The 1998 Nuggets, 11-71 (.134) 5. The 1987 Clippers, 12-70 (.146) 5. The 2010 Nets, 12-70 (.146) 7. The 1994 Mavericks 13-69 (.159) 7. The 2005 Hawks, 13-69 (.159) 9. The 1999 Grizzlies, 8-42 (.160) 10. The 1983 Rockets, 14-68 (.171) 10. But they’ll be players this year missing [...]
