If they could go back in time and do it all over again, here's how I think the 2012 NFL draft would look. (Draft-day trades have been erased.) 1. Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck (QB, Stanford) -- Three-way toss-up between Luck, Griffin and Wilson, but I think the Colts stay put.  2. Washington Redskins: Robert Griffin III (QB, Baylor) -- Can't go wrong with the offensive rookie of the year, but they'd think long and hard about Wilson. Especially considering RG3's injury. 3. Cleveland Browns: Russell Wilson (QB, Wisconsin) -- This is a no-brainer. Huge upgrade over Trent Richardson and Brandon Weeden.  4. Minnesota Vikings: Matt Kalil (OT, USC) -- They'd have to decide between Kalil, who had a stellar rookie year, and defensive rookie of the year Luke Kuechly. Great spot to be. 5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Luke Kuechly (LB, Boston College) -- Mark Barron did not have a great rookie season.  6. St. Louis Rams: Casey Hayward (CB, Vanderbilt) -- I'm sure they would have taken that trade from Dallas regardless, but they'd have lost each of the draft's best three corners had they done so. 7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ryan Tannehill (QB, Texas A&M) -- The Jags steal Tannehill from the state rival Dolphins instead of taking Justin Blackmon again.  8. Miami Dolphins: Brandon Weeden (QB, Oklahoma State) -- This is what happens when it's a phenomenal year for rookie quarterbacks. Big downgrade for the Phins.  9. Carolina Panthers: Fletcher Cox (DT, Mississippi State) -- The drop-off from Kuechly to Cox isn't monumental.  10. Buffalo Bills: Morris Claiborne (CB, LSU) -- A toss-up here between Claiborne and the play-maker Jenkins. Still projecting a bit by giving Buffalo Claiborne. Both are better than Stephon Gilmore. 11. Kansas City Chiefs: Janoris Jenkins (CB, North Alabama) -- The Chiefs wouldn't touch Dontari Poe with a 10-foot pole if they could do it again. Jenkins would be a great pick here. 12. Seattle Seahawks: Bobby Wagner (LB, Utah State) -- The Seahawks have to take the defensive rookie of the year runner-up in the first round this time around. 13. Arizona Cardinals: Mitchell Schwartz (OT, Cal) -- The Cardinals ditch Michael Floyd and go with a franchise tackle of the future. Schwartz was solid in Cleveland in 2012. 14. Dallas Cowboys: Lavonte David (LB, Nebraska) -- Using extra hindsight here and considering how well he'd suit the Cowboys' new 4-3 defense on the weak side.  15. Philadelphia Eagles: Quinton Coples (DE/OLB, North Carolina) -- Coples had an underrated rookie season with the Jets, although I'm sure the Eagles would have been cool with Chandler Jones or Bruce Irvin, too. 16. New York Jets: Chandler Jones (DE/OLB, Syracuse) -- Again, Coples, Jones and Irvin remained in a tough-too-separate group in 2012. The Jets fare well here.  17. Cincinnati Bengals: Doug Martin (RB, Boise State) -- The Bengals add a stellar offensive weapon to support Andy Dalton and A.J. Green.  18. San Diego Chargers: Bruce Irvin (DE/OLB, West Virginia) -- This re-draft isn't working out well for the Seahawks, but the Chargers upgrade on Melvin Ingram.  19. Chicago Bears: Harrison Smith (S, Notre Dame) -- Jury's still out on Shea McClellin. Smith had a good rookie year. 20. Tennessee Titans: Justin Blackmon (WR, Oklahoma State) -- It was either Blackmon or Smith for the Bears, but they'd already invested in Brandon Marshall.  21. Cincinnati Bengals: Tavon Wilson (S, Illinois) -- Wilson had some very good moments in New England in 2012. Wouldn't fault them for taking guard Kevin Zeitler again, though.  22. Cleveland Browns: Trent Richardson (RB, Alabama) -- Would ya look at that, the Browns end up with their man and Russell Wilson.  23. Detroit Lions: Alfred Morris (RB, Florida Atlantic) -- Detroit could have used the league's second-leading rusher.  24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Riley Reiff (OT, Iowa) -- I think you're better off with Reiff than David DeCastro simply because of DeCastro's injury. Zeitler works here, too. 25. Denver Broncos: Michael Brockers (DT, LSU) -- Yet I'm sure they'd be happy to trade down again and take Derek Wolfe. 26. Houston Texans: T.Y. Hilton (WR, Florida International) -- Lots of good options here. Taking Whitney Mercilus again would be cool with me, but I'm giving them another receiving threat. 27. New England Patriots: Dont'a Hightower (OLB, Alabama) -- The Pats don't trade up for Chandler Jones but still get Hightower with their original pick from New Orleans.  28. Green Bay Packers: Stephon Gilmore (CB, South Carolina) -- Sorry, Green Bay. Casey Hayward's gone, and so are Janoris Jenkins and Morris Claiborne.  29. Baltimore Ravens: Mark Barron (S, Alabama) -- Best player available for a team that never used its rookies much and is looking for a long-term replacement for Ed Reed. 30. San Francisco 49ers: David Wilson (RB, Virginia Tech) -- The 49ers trade in one play-maker (A.J. Jenkins) for another. But at least Wilson made plays as a rook.  31. New England Patriots: Whitney Mercilus (DE, Illinois) -- The drop-off from Jones to Mercilus isn't big and the Pats keep the rest of their picks.  32. New York Giants: Vontaze Burfict (LB, Arizona State) -- With Wilson gone to San Francisco and all of the top backs off the board, they go with the best linebacker available over Zeitler.
