San Francisco has lost starting nose tackle Ian Williams to a leg injury suffered in the first quarter against Seattle. Williams was injured when he was being cut block by J.R. Sweezy midway through the quarter on Sunday night. Williams' left ankle was caught underneath as Sweezy made the block on a 2-yard run by Marshawn Lynch. He was down on the field for a few minutes before being helped off by a pair of trainers, putting very little weight on his left leg. The 49ers announced later in the quarter that Williams would not return. Williams was replaced in the lineup by Glenn Dorsey, who sacked Seattle QB Russell Wilson on the next series. --- AP NFL website:

For 49ers, Utter Dominance a Must Against Colts

The Seattle Seahawks handed it to the 49ers this past Sunday night, in Seattle, with the on slot beginning with Mother Nature putting over an hour stoppage time, as another rainy evening in Seattle threw the guest team of its course. Enough about that...

Richard Sherman slaps Jim Harbaugh’s butt after win over 49ers

Richard Sherman, who once played under Jim Harbaugh at Stanford, gave his former coach a slap in the rear and a “good game” during the post-game of the Sunday Night Football game between the 49ers and Seahawks.  The two have bad blood now, though, after Sherman called Harbaugh a “Bully” last season.  Sherman #Seahawks said he tried to talk to his former college coach...

After last week’s QB performance, I gave Wilson a ‘B’ grade, with the expectation that he and the Hawks could and would improve.  Kaepernick...
