Some Players Need More Recognition
The Rookie Defensive Lineman has been overshadowed by other rookie standouts Marcell Dareus and Von Miller. Smith has been an integral part of the dominant 49ers defensive front. A great player with incredible speed off the ball, Smith can pressure Eli Manning and run down any RB the Giants want to throw at him. After all, after Smith hits Eli a few times, he will lose composure and throw like Tebow.
The aggressive attitude and tenacious nature of Terrell Suggs often goes unnoticed. Most of the pass rush is attributed to Terrence Cody and Haloti Ngata. Most of the Ravens run stopping ability is still attributed to Ray Lewis. Many people forget about Terrell Suggs. A beast of a man, Suggs has great speed and constantly applied pressure from the edge. Another attribute many people overlook is his ability to cover receivers.
