Usually when we do a round table, it's Josh and myself debating different topics about the Bengals (and sometimes we talk about super heros). This time it was a little different. Jaxon, from the Carolina Panthers SB Nation site, Cat Scratch Reader, and I sat down for a round table to discuss the Offensive Rookie of the Year, which would either go to Cam Newton of the Panthers or our own Andy Dalton. And, of course, we got into some other things as well.

Three more Bengals joining Green at Pro Bowl

A.J. Green will have company at the Pro Bowl this week. The league announced Sunday night that quarterback Andy Dalton, defensive tackle Geno Atkins and tight end Jermaine Grehsam have been added to the AFC squad for next Sunday’s game, which will kick off from Aloha Stadium in Honolulu at 7 p.m. Dalton and Green form the first rookie quarterback-receiver duo from the same team...

Cam Newton is Pro Bowl-bound

Cam Newton is headed to Hawaii. With Eli Manning and the New York Giants punching their Super Bowl ticket Sunday with a win at San Francisco in the NFC championship game, Newton is expected to take Manning's spot on the NFC team in the Pro Bowl on Jan. 29 in Honolulu. Newton, who broke Peyton Manning's rookie passing record, was the NFC's first alternate at quarterback...

Bengals' Dalton, Atkins, Gresham to Pro Bowl

FROM CINCINNATI BENGALS PUBLIC RELATIONS Three Bengals -- QB Andy Dalton, DT Geno Atkins and TE Jermaine Gresham -- have been added to the AFC squad for next Sunday's Pro Bowl, the NFL announced today. Dalton and Atkins were both first alternates in last month's voting, and Gresham was a third alternate. All three will replace New England players who were removed from the...

Cheerleader of the Week: Panthers Cheerleader Laura B.

One AFC team team that is on its way up, but unfortunately not in the playoffs quite yet, is the Carolina Panthers.  Rookie QB Cam Newton has burst onto the scene, but he’s not the only super rookie in Charlotte’s NFL stadium.  The TopCats also had a great rookie class this season, including Laura B, a college student.  Laura absolutely shines on the sidelines and in...

Jay Gruden refuses

Jay Gruden doesn't seem interested in leaving Cincinnati this year.  He's declined the Colts interview request: Twice this month, the Bengals’ offensive coordinator has rejected an opportunity to be considered for a coaching job.  First it was the Jaguars.  Now, he has spurned an overture from the Colts, according to Charley Casserly of CBS. Gruden, who drew rave reviews...

The 20 questions mailbag, offseason edition

I had the first offseason edition of 20 questions on Twitter (@joereedy) last night as we started to delve into free agency and the draft. 1. Pierre Garcon or Robert Meachem, who is the more realistic option? to me, Meachem would be the better fit because of what he can do in the red zone. Garcon is more of a big play, home run hitter which the Bengals already have with Green. 2...
