Tim Tebow may be finding out that he's not well liked by his own football team, because the New York Daily News is reporting that Tebow was made fun of by a few teammates during practice. Thursday morning, a few players awaited for Tebow to show up to the Jets training camp. When Tebow arrived, the players began to pick at the backup quarterback.

According to the report, the few unknown teammates began chanting "Lolo" -- after U.S. Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones, who recently came out saying that she's keeping her virginity until she finds the right person.

Remember, Tebow is deep about his religions, which means he's not giving it up until he gets married.

It appears that the comments got to Tebow, because during practice, Tebow was picked off twice and performed on special teams, while Mark Sanchez was performing great.
  • This whole Tebow situation amazes me. If he were African Americans I do not think he wsould be granted so limelight and oportunities. Yes race is a factor. At this point EW a numbeR OF unemployed bLACK QSs who could be back up signal callers in the League. But the Jets hire Tebow after he was DISCARDED by the Broncos as though he couldbring credibility to the position immediatly. Meanwhile McNabb, Young and other Black signal callers must scrape and beg to auditions to play. McNabb has lost a step, but his throwing skills I know exceed Tebow's. No Black QB with the level of skill of TB would be given a second thought. I wish him well, but I think the razzing from his teamates and the interest by the Press is spuured by their interest in watching him fall on his face. They are setting this man up to fail on the national stage and its sad to see.
  • Every new person when coming to a new team gets pick on by the veterans this is not uncommon it's expected. But when it's time and Tebow number get called to action he will rise to the ocassion because it's just who he is, no one thought Denver would make it to the playoffs let alone knock off one of few toughest team in the AFC to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.
