cover32 - Seahawks:
San Francisco 49ers
New York Jets
The Seattle Seahawks weathered another dry offensive performance and a late drive by the San Francisco 49ers to earn a trip to Super bowl XLVIII in one of the greatest games in franchise history.
MVP – Doug Baldwin
Undrafted, underrated, undermined, undeterred. Doug Baldwin plays with a boulder on his shoulder because of all the so-called experts that doubted his abilities. In the biggest game of his young career Baldwin came through in the clutch, with six catches for 106 yards, including an enormous 51 yarder at the end of the first half that led to the Seahawks getting on the scoreboard. If that wasn’t enough he also had 109 return yards. Without Baldwin’s stellar playmaking, the Seahawks don’t win this game, period. He’s earned a big pay day. Let’s just hope that it’s not with the New York Jets.
LVP – Russell Wilson
It’s hard to be downcast right now, but this was not a pretty performance by our offensive line or our quarterback. I’ve been picking on Max Unger, Breno Giacomini...
BEST OF MAXIM
Offense, Special Teams: Doug Baldwin
This was maybe the easiest call of the season. The Seahawks were having a lot of trouble on offense in the first half. That started to change when Russell Wilson slipped out of the 49ers pass rush noose and found Doug Baldwin for a 51 yard completion that set up a Seattle field goal to finally get them on the score board. Baldwin finished the...
Today the media attacked Richard Sherman because he called Michael Crabtree a mediocre wide receiver, after having to deal with trash talking from Crabtree. When Sherman sounded off about Crabtree, all the sudden he is a trash talker and garbage. Well today he showed class by apologizing, but not for what he said about Crabtree, […]The post Richard Sherman apologizes, but he...

Anyone who has listened to Macklemore’s music knows of the deep pride he has for his hometown of Seattle.
The rapper, who has previously raised the Seahawks’ 12th Man flag at CenturyLink Field, performed at halftime of the team’s 23-17, conference-clinching win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. He was also invited into the locker room for the Seahawks’ postgame celebration...
It sounds like the Seahawks still aren’t sure if Percy Harvin (concussion) will be able to practice on Wednesday.
Carroll said need to wait and see what happens today to see whether or not Harvin will practice on Wednesday.

The good news is that Harvin has 12 days to get ready for the Super Bowl.

Everyone has been talking about Richard Sherman’s post-game rant about 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree. The internet was on fire with memes, vines, and even parodies of Sherman.
Comedian Mike Epps even got in on the action with this Richard Sherman parody for “The Michael Epps Show”.

Imagine this: you just had the single greatest moment of your professional life. You closed the biggest sale, you signed the biggest client, you bested your biggest competitor. A moment later, you go up to your competition to shake their hand, and they shove you in the face.
How would you feel?
When it happened to Richard Sherman on Sunday night he was understandably angry. When...
For much of the NFC Championship the San Francisco defense has been able to bottle up Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch. However, when you have a running back as explosive as he is all you have to do is keep feeding him the ball and eventually he will break one loose.Sure enough he did just that in the third quarter with a 40-yard burst to tie the game up at 10-10.Gifdsports.comAs...
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman gave one of the most intense postgame interviews in recent memory after his team beat the San Francisco 49ers, 23-17, Sunday in the NFC Championship Game and advanced to Super Bowl XLVIII.The third-year defender called out 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree, calling him a "sorry receiver" and telling him not to "ever talk...
To be fair, Marshawn Lynch is a hell of an athlete, with a a cannon for an arm.
Lynch is an All Pro running back who goes by the moniker, “Beast Mode,” because of his nasty running style. Lynch’s offensive coordinator at Cal, George Cortez, told USA Today that Lynch actually wanted to try out for the quarterback position after Aaron Rodgers turned pro in 2004.
The NFL Championship games are in the books and the only thing dominating sports media this Monday is Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman and his post game comments to Fox sideline reporter Erin Andrews. Well, get over it America. I support Sherman, and the media is blowing this ridiculous incident out of control because of a lackluster set of games on Sunday. Period.
Following last night’s post-game interview with Erin Andrews I felt like Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was a lock to make an appearance on WWE programming wither it is a Raw or even WrestleMania.
It looks like WWE is taking notice of Sherman’s WWE like post-game interview as they are asking their fans if Sherman would make a good WWE superstar.
Would NFC Champion Seattle...

The budding rivalry between the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers is slowly becoming the most acrimonious in the NFL, and things will only get more heated when the two teams meet this Sunday in the NFC Championship with a trip to Super Bowl XLVIII on the line. This game has all the makings of a classic, with two elite defenses and two head coaches with a bitter history...
