The Pittsburgh Steelers had one play left and decided to do their best Cal-Stanford impression.  After a series of laterals, Antonio Brown found himself with an alley and somehow found his way to the end zone against the Miami Dolphins.  Unfortunately for Steelers fans, Brown stepped out at the 13-yard line and the miracle was not to be.

An Inch Away From Winning The Game, Steelers Antonio Brown Inches Closer To Records

In the Pittsburgh Steelers 34-28 loss Sunday to the Miami Dolphins, wide receiver Antonio Brown came roughly an inch away from pulling off the biggest game-winning touchdown for the franchise since the Immaculate Reception. Instead, he will have to settle for inching ever so closer towards breaking two franchise single-season receiving records. Thanks to his […] An Inch Away From...

Steelers will forfeit late-round pick

Mike Tomlin will lose $100,000 for his actions on the sidelines Thanksgiving night, and the Pittsburgh Steelers will forfeit a late-round draft pick. “In addition, because the conduct affected a play on the field, a modification or forfeiture of draft choices will be considered after the final order of the 2014 draft has been determined,” NFL said when Tomlin’s discipline...

Steelers Come Within Inches of Pulling Off Miraculous Five-Lateral, 79-Yard Touchdown on Final Play of Game (GIFs)

The Steelers were within inches of pulling off a miraculous victory over the Dolphins on Sunday, but for the second time in consecutive weeks, the sideline proved to be troublesome for Pittsburgh. In a day full of wild endings in the NFL, Pittsburgh may have attempted the craziest of them all. On the final play of the game, the Steelers took the field trailing Miami 34-28 and needing...

Illegal Forward Pass On The Steelers Final Play? Calling All Geometry Majors

Not that it matters at this point, but several have asked if the lateral from Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to wide receiver Antonio Brown, during the wacky final play against the Miami Dolphins, went forward. I have two screen shots below and the first is the exact moment that the ball leaves Roethlisberger's hand. […] Illegal Forward Pass On The Steelers...

Brown Thought He Had A TD

Antonio Brown inexplicably stepped out of bounds to deaden what would've been a miracle finish for the Steelers.

Ben Roethlisberger: ‘Absolutely no issue between coach Haley and I’

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says he never took a swipe at offensive coordinator Todd Haley after Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins. Roethlisberger told reporters to ask Haley why the Steelers didn’t run the ball more in the second half. “It’s unbelievable,” Roethlisberger said during his weekly radio show on 93.7 The Fan, via “It gets...

Sideline karms haunts the Steelers (Photo)

With one last effort at the end of today’s game against the Dolphins,  the Steelers attempted to score a game-winning touchdown by lateraling the football back numerous times in an attempt to score a touchdown. Well Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown ended up breaking down the sideline to score a touchdown.  The only problem is that a part...

Steelers crumble late, fall to Dolphins 34-28

It was a play symbolic of a lost season, filled with hope and despair and all the things in between. In the end, though, Antonio Brown's frantic dash to the end zone after a five-lateral comedy of errors turned out to be nothing more than a stat-padding exercise in chaos. When officials ruled Brown stepped out of bounds at the Miami 12 after time expired to assure the Dolphins...

The Pittsburgh Steelers chances of making the playoffs went down the drain after a 34-28 loss to the Miami Dolphins Sunday at Heinz Field. “Not enough playmaking for us in any of the three phases to secure victory,” coach Mike Tomlin said after the game. “Obviously, there was enough playmaking by them.” With no timeouts on fourth-and-4 from the Pittsburgh 26, Ben Roethlisberger took...

Dolphins can take a huge step towards making playoffs with win today

By Matthew C (Follow me on Twitter @PhinManiacs) Believe it or not, the Dolphins are in very good shape to get the sixth spot in the AFC. If my projections are correct, they would most likely play the Bengals or Colts in the first round. The Dolphins have beaten them both this season.
