The Arizona Cardinals had an up and down season this year. After beating Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers in the first game of the season, the Cardinals would lose the next six in a row, three of those losses came by four points or less. The Cardinals would lose to the New York Giants during that streak by four points and if you remember there was a controversial call that would have given the Cardinals the win. After the slow start the Cardinals would win seven of their last nine and one of those victories would be against the San Francisco 49ers. When you go through the year and look at the final statistics, you notice that the Cardinals are not great at one thing but are not terrible at one thing either. They are middle of the road in every category and in order for them to take a step in the right direction next year, the Cardinals must be able to excel in one area on either side of the ball while staying consistent with their balance.
