Coughlin chats with Juliet players "as a parent would"

No Giants broke the law. They didn’t even break any team rules. But they did have to answer to an authority as Tom Coughlin had (or will have) a chat with those who were present at a Manhattan club early Tuesday morning when gunshots were fired and a man was killed.

Tom Coughlin Wednesday Presser

Tom Coughlin spoke with the media this morning as his team begins preparations for Sunday night’s game vs Philadelphia. “Good morning. In the division with the Philadelphia Eagles. The 2012 Giants

It feels like the only thing we discuss more than Tom Coughlin's habit of coaching teams that close the season poorly is his job security. With the exception of the Super Bowl year and the one following it, Coughlin's job security has always been a talking point around the Giants. It was hotly discussed at the end of last season and throughout the summer as Coughlin signed...

Life on the edge proves dangerous to Giants

Everyone was thinking it, and given the Giants’ history last year it’s certainly fair. As soon as they fell behind against the 49ers on Sunday, you could almost hear the cries of “Oh, here they go again.”   Not surprisingly, after his teams' 27-20 loss in San Francisco, Tom Coughlin wanted no ...

Prince gets the Deon Grant Seal of Approval

It will be Tom Coughlin’s decision whether Prince Amukamara makes his NFL debut on Sunday night against the Eagles. And while the head coach gave a “we’ll see” response to the first-round pick’s availability, Amukamara got the green light from elsewhere.

Giants-Eagles: Memory of Last Year Will Prevent Letdown This Week

Will Meadowlands Meltdown Be a Giant Motivator? by Jon Wagner At just 3-6 and well short of their earlier Super Bowl aspirations, the talented but severely underachieving Philadelphia Eagles appear to already be done for the 2011 season. In theory, that should mean a relatively easy home win on Sunday night for the Eagles’ next opponent, the first-place New York Giants (6-3),...

Justin Tuck not concerned about foot/ankle

Justin Tuck did not practice today because he had his foot stepped on in practice late Thursday and rolled his ankle a little bit. Tom Coughlin said there was no swelling, but they wanted him to rest as a precaution, and Tuck said there is no reason for concern.
