NBA All-Star weekend was marked by fashion highs and lows from the league’s top players. Though basketball stars and their sartorial skills was the focus, NFL players managed to join in on the stylish action. Minnesota Vikings RB and NFL MVP, Adrian Peterson, hosted a charity fashion event at the House of Dereon Media Center in Houston. The “All on the Runway Celebrity Fashion Show” benefitted the All Day Foundation, an organization created by Peterson to raise awareness and funds for programs that inspire hope and build a better future for at-risk-children. The fashion show featured a range of current and former NFL and NBA athletes. The sports stars modeled threads from local designers including Los Angeles-based, Jhoanna Alba. The roster of models included Houston Texans defensive end and quarterback, J.J. Watt and Matt Schaub, Green Bay Packers cornerback, Tramon Williams, NFL wide receiver, Terrell Owens, former NBA point guard, Keyon Dooling, and former NFL safety, Robert Griffith. They all clean up nice outside of their uniforms, but it was J.J. Watt who proved he has the best skills when it comes to strutting down the runway. Here’s a look at the athletes-turned-fashion models as they took to the “All on the Runway” catwalk: (photos courtesy of khou.com)
