Just more than a month after declaring that he thought the Chicago Bears were the team to beat in the NFC North division, Brian Urlacher went under the knife for arthroscopic knee surgery…less than a month before the regular season begins.
After sitting out the first two weeks on Bears training camp, many were starting to conclude that Uralcher’s ailments were more than just precautionary. This was confirmed this morning when it was reported that the procedure took place just 26 days before opening kickoff on September 9th against Andrew Luck and the new look Colts.
My question is why did he wait so long if a procedure was needed? I’m no doctor, but there aren’t a lot of arthroscopic procedure’s you can undergo and then be back on the field at one-hundred percent in about three weeks.
