NFL Trade Rumors:
The Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs writes Monday that the Chicago Bears show “no signs that indicate [free agent defensive end Israel Idonije] will be returning to the organization.”
Idonije, 32, has spent the last nine years of his ten year professional career with the Bears. His first year in the league, 2003, was spent with the Cleveland Browns.
The team has expressed interest in bringing back Idonije, but for the right price. Idonije has made few visits on his free agent tour to gauge his true market price.
In related Chicago defensive line news, the team terminated the contract of defensive tackle Andre Fluetten who was signed on April 9 to a one-year deal. He played in 56 games in the last five seasons, mostly with the Detroit Lions.
We have Idonije listed as the No. 7 player in our Best Available Free Agents list.

The Chicago Bears have been holding organized team activities this week and every veteran with the team made it, except one - offensive lineman Gabe Carimi.
Gabe Carimi should have been there. With a new head coach, there's new plays, terminology and blocking schemes to learn. Head Coach Marc Trestman has said he believes Carimi would play guard in his offense, however Carimi...
After spending about a month with the Bears, Andre Fluellen has been released. He will most certainly get picked up by another team as a camp body with experience but Fluellen is on the downside of his career. He played for both the Lions and Dolphins last season.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Bears offensive lineman Gabe Carimi has been working out with former NFL lineman LeCharles Bentley and is reportedly “light years” better than he was in 2012.
Bentley started running the O-Line Performance Academy after his career ended in 2006 and he worked out with Carimi before he was drafted in 2011. He says Carimi has to change the player...
Chicago Bears 2011 NFL Draft pick Gabe Carimi has drawn a lot of attention for not participating in Marc Trestman’s first offseason training program.
There has been speculation that Carimi could be on the bubble and that attending the program would help him get his footing for training camp.
However, Carimi has taken the opposite stance, staying away and clearing his mind of...
In the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft Phil Emery selected Florida linbacker Jonathan Bostic to come in and be the middle linebacker of the future. Bostic ran the fastest 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine and grades out as one of the most athletic linebackers in the draft. Bostic is a bit under-sized for a starting NFL middle linebacker at 6-foot-1 245-pounds and on tape...
The Chicago Bears arguably have the two best starting cornerbacks in the NFL right now in Tim Jennings and Charles Tillman. Both earned starting NFC Pro Bowl nods in 2012 and each had their best seasons in a Bears uniform. Jennings led the NFL with nine interceptions, while Tillman led the NFL 10 forced fumbles, including four in one game against the Tennessee Titans. That...
The Bears have a solid one-two punch at running back with the duo of Matt Forte and Michael Bush, yet the third RB position is still up for grabs. We break down the two players vying for that roster spot.

Mark Harrison originally signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted rookie back in April but failed a physical after showing up to rookie minicamp with a foot injury. He was released and is now being signed by the New England Patriots.
The former Rutgers star has a nice blend of size (6-3, 200 lbs) and speed (4.46) and could develop into an NFL player but he’s facing an uphill...
