Sarah Jones is a former Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader turned high school English teacher. In October 2009, Bengals players alerted her to a posting on a website called TheDirty.com that featured a picture of Jones and was claiming she had been seen around town with a Bengals player with rumors going as far as to say that Jones had a sexual relationship with the entire Bengals football team.
“The picture [on the site] is taken out of context because it’s taken at a charity event we did for Toys for Tots,” Jones said. She contacted the site and begged them to take it down. Then in December, she saw another posting claiming she had STDs and had sex in her classroom.
“These kids Google me. They see things. If it’s on the Internet, it’s real to them. They believe it,” Jones said. Parents told Jones they did not want their children in her class.
According to a report on Anderson Cooper's website, Jones eventually broke down and even suffered a panic attack. “One day I was this credible teacher that they looked up to and listened to,” says Jones. “The next day, I had a student come in and say I cannot come into my classroom and learn because you had sex in here.”
This past August, news broke that Jones won an $11 million libel lawsuit against a the website according to Cincinnati.com. She received $1 million in compensatory damages and 10 million for punitive damages with an annual interest rate of .25 percent. So she received financial compensation for her troubles; now she gets psychological retribution.

It’s Steeler week!! Let’s hear your best WHODEY, people!! Now the real test begins, as the Bengals play Pittsburgh and Baltimore 3 times in the next 4 games. The task seemed overwhelming at first. The Cincinnati Bengals were trying to teach an entirely new offense to a group led by a rookie receiver, with only two weeks to go before the first preseason game.
Everyone expected a rough start. A 6-2 mark at the season's halfway point? Dream on.
''I think it's definitely better than anybody would have expected it to have...
We would have liked to wait until after the Baltimore game on Nov. 20 before evaluating the postseason, but the fact that the Bengals have won five straight and are tied for the best record in the AFC has moved that timetable up a bit.
Even the folks at numberFire, who are doing a weekly playoff predictor on ESPN.com, have the Bengals in the postseason with the AFC’s sixth seed...
The Steelers face off against the Cincinnati Bengals this week to try and get back in the hunt for the division lead. This is a big game for both teams. The Bengals are playing their first real big game of the season. They played San Francisco early before they got rolling and beat the Buffalo Bills on a late field goal. This game versus the Steelers will tell the tale for...
Here is what Bengals fans can expect to encounter this weekend when the black and gold come to town. Beware the mouth breathing mongoloid. What sad and miserable people they are. Whats the bet that none of them live in or near Pittsburgh?
