Bengals WR, Jerome Simpson home was the final destination for a 2.5 pound package of Cali marijuana that was shipped from Sacramento. A woman, identified as Aleen Smith, 27, accepted the package Tuesday at Simpson’s home. Authorities searched the home after receiving permission from Simpson and found another 6 pounds of weed plus related paraphernalia like scales, smoking devices and packing materials. It is believed the home was set up as a distribution center. Simpson’s teammate, Anthony Collins was also at the home when the package was delivered. The path leading to Simpson’s residence began on September 19th. A narcotics unit devoted to detecting and tracking suspected marijuana shipments flagged a package, which originated in Eureka, Calif., at a Sacramento shipping center.
