QB: Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskins: Griffin III continues to amaze, and has proved that he is one of the league’s elite quarterbacks this year. Griffin threw for 258 yards and 2 touchdowns, and added 89 yards on the ground. With 1:32 left, Griffin dropped a beautiful ball right into Santana Moss’ hands to give the Skins the lead, but unfortunately, that was enough time for Eli Manning to lead yet another comeback victory. 3x Winner RB: Alfred Morris, Washington Redskins: The Griffin-Morris combo will be a force to be reckoned with for several years, as Morris rushed for 120 yards on 22 carries. The young back runs with a great motor and takes advantage of the fact that defenses have to be wary of Griffin on every play. If Mike Shanahan keeps Morris in the game plan, look for the dynamic duo to rack up over 200 yards rushing every game. 2x Winner WR: Josh Gordon, Cleveland Browns: Although Brandon Weeden continues to struggle, Josh Gordon is emerging as a deep threat receiver, similar to Mike Wallace. Gordon only caught two balls, but he totaled 59 yards and scored. However, Gordon was targeted a team high 10 times during the game, so look for him to come down with more receptions as he and Weeden gain a stronger chemistry. This is someone you may want to pick up in your fantasy league, as this is Gordon’s second straight week as the top rookie wide receiver. 2x Winner TE: No tight end worthy of award this week Def: Luke Kuechly, Carolina Panthers: Kuechly was an absolute force against the Cowboys this past week. The rookie out of Boston College racked up a team high 15 tackles and helped hold the Cowboys to just 85 yards rushing (2.7 yards per carry). Kuechly is a highly touted rookie, having been named an All-American three times in college. The number nine pick has a bright future ahead of him, and will need to continue this high level of performance if the Panthers want to improve on their 1-5 record. -Langer
