Inside the Bills:
The Bills were certainly disappointed with the outcome of Sunday’s game knowing they did not bring their best in the loss to the Jets. But after some help from the NY Giants Sunday, who handed the Patriots their third loss of the season, the three-way tie for first in the AFC East indicates how close things are.
“We still feel like we control what happens to us,” said Fred Jackson. “We knew it was going to be a dogfight coming in and they came in and played well and we didn’t. We’ve just got to get back to the drawing board and we’ve got a great opportunity this week to go down to Dallas and get a win.”

TJ Rosenthal: Jets Win If – They stop Fred Jackson. The Bills offense can be contained in the air for two reasons. First, their WR combo of Stevie Johnson and David Nelson won’t stand a chance to Darrelle Revis should the Jets choose to lock either one of them up. The Bills TE Scott Chandler has 6 TD’s but has been targeted just 18 times...
The Jets came out on top and dominated the Buffalo Bills after the offense sputtered for a bit then came with a barrage of touchdowns by Santonio Holmes and 2 rushing Tds 1 by LT and The Terrrrminator as Rex Ryan calls him..
The defense played selfish forcing turnovers and not allowing Fred Jackson to run wild and Fitzpatrick get into any rhythm.. The win improves us into a 3 way...
One of the Jet’s bigger weaknesses this season has been their inability to contain running back. Against Jacksonville and Baltimore, they held Maurice Jones-Drew and Ray Rice, respectively, to human performances. Unfortunately, the running gains of Darren McFadden of the Raiders and BenJarvus Green-Ellis helped decide those games.
This week, they’ll have a tough matchup in Fred...

The New York Jets' back-to-basics formula -- smashmouth defense and running the ball -- has them firmly back in the AFC East playoff race at midseason. The Jets forced three turnovers, including Jim Leonhard's recovery of Fred Jackson's fumble that set up LaDainian Tomlinson's 1-yard plunge early in the second half of a 27-11 win over the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills got bullied yesterday by the Jets yesterday, just like I thought they would. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 15 of 31 passes for 191 yards with 1 TD pass and 2 INTs. He also carried the ball 2 times for 9 yards (4.5 ypc) in this game. Fred Jackson led the way on the ground with 82 yards rushing on 18 carries (4.6 ypc) and he also caught 3 passes for 38 yards (12.7 avg...
