The Buffalo Bills remain undefeated on the season, and just keep scoring points in bunches. While quarterback Josh Allen had his first interception, he put on his Superman cape and helped lead the team to victory when it mattered the most.
Immediately following the contest, head coach Sean McDermott opened up about the team's victory. While there was plenty to improve on, McDermott shared a special halftime moment with the reigning MVP.
It only took one look from McDermott to know that Allen was locked in and ready for the challenge ahead. Great quarterbacks rise to the occasion, and that's exactly what Allen did.
"Their will to win. At halftime, I could tell he was; he just had that look in his eye. He's just got an incredible will to win and spirit about him," McDermott said. "I love it, absolutely love it. When he made that scramble run on one of those drives. When he raises his level of play, it's like 'okay boys,' they raise their level of play. They knew what time it was.
"I should've credited it when I started, but the second half running game was legit, it really was," McDermott added. "Coach Kromer, Coach Gund, Joe calling those, dialing them up, the o-line, all involved in the running game, did a phenomenal job. I think in the first half we had close to 60 yards, and to end with 165 is very impressive. That adjustment, I thought the staff overall did a great job of communicating and making the adjustments we had to make to pull the game out."

Stay tuned to hear from QB Josh Allen, Coach McDermott and more.#NOvsBUF | #BillsMafia https://t.co/oteDR1qbZf
Allen scampered his way to a first down, stiff-arming and juking defenders left and right, and the following play resulted in a touchdown for Buffalo. The reigning MVP once again put the team on his shoulders in one of the biggest moments of the game.

Immediately after his long run, Allen found tight end Dalton Kincaid wide open for the score that proved to be the difference-maker for the Bills. With his touchdown, Kincaid has a career-high three touchdowns through four games with no signs of slowing down.

McDermott praised Bills Mafia following the win. It was a beautiful day in Western New York, capped off with yet another Bills victory. Outside of the beautiful weather, running back James Cook gave the fan base plenty to cheer about, making history in the team's victory.
"Good to get a win, great to do it at home in front of our fans," McDermott said. "Great turnout, beautiful day in Western New York. Couldn't have asked for anything more, glory to God for the weather, for the win, and all His blessings. I thought the team really came together in the second half. We weren't really playing a complementary brand of football in the first half.
"Came out in the second half with a little more energy and attitude, and I thought that showed in the first drive for defense, first drive of offense," McDermott offered. "Still a lot to work on, it was good to see James break the record that he did, the franchise record, and happy for him.
"There's a lot of hard work that's gone into that, not just from him but for all those around him," McDermott continued. "O-line and all those involved, coach Kromer, all the offensive coaches, to the work they put in there. Brady, Coach Brady, as well, Coach Gund. And then Cole Bishop getting his first NFL interception, he's worked hard and he continues to grow each week."
Outside of Allen's impact late in the contest, another star of the contest was that of safety Cole Bishop. The Saints were driving down the field in the first half with an opportunity to double-dip.
That was until Bishop channeled his inner Micah Hyde for his first career interception, and what a beauty of an interception it was. McDermott was asked directly about Bishop and his performance.

"Well, it was a huge play in the game if you kinda really think about it big picture," McDermott said. "They're getting the ball after half, they're down there inside of two or three minutes to play, maybe less. They score before half, potentially, they come out with the ball after half. Now you're talking about a potentially 14-point situation there, big time play [ . . . ] Cole did a great job of sniffing it out."
The head coach was asked about what it means for him to achieve his 90th career win. McDermott put everything into perspective, and his response was just further proof of the culture he helped build in Buffalo.
"What a blessing, what a blessing. Got a great staff around me through the years," McDermott said. "Really great players around me, you can't do this job by yourself. Extremely grateful, grateful for God, grateful for all those who have helped me over the years. Like I said, it's a true team effort. Trust me, I wasn't thinking about trying to get 90 during the game; that was a hard game. We knew it was going to be tough; they're all tough. I'm extremely grateful and grateful of the fans too, because a lot of those wins have happened at home. They've played a big part of it."

Penalties crushed a few of the drives for the Bills, and the pass rush didn't get home until the closing moments of the game. However, much like McDermott expressed during his press conference, with the sentiment being shared across the locker room, the team found a way to win.
It took one look from Allen to let McDermott know they would turn things around, and we have a feeling it won't be the last time Allen does so this season.
