Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr told the NFL Network’s “Around The League Live today that Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III doesn’t look the same to him so far this season. “He doesn’t look the same,” Carr said, via NFL.com. ”That’s not saying we’re going to fall asleep on him. He still has the same arm strength. He still has some type of elusive ability once he gets outside the pocket. … But we know he’s not the same.” With the Redskins coming off a bye week,  we may see the RG3 of last season.   Need NFL Tickets? Washington Redskins game preview: Week 6 (at Dallas)

Alfred Morris needs to take over this game for Washington, like he did in Week 17 last season (Photo: Mike Stone/Reuters) I’ve been on a really big Bruce Springsteen kick lately. Actually, I’ll get to that in a second. First you should know that at 8:00 ET on NBC Sunday Night Football, the Washington Redskins (1-3) will take on their detested rivals, the Dallas Cowboys (2-3)...

Report: Police investigating assault by Deion Sanders

The Dallas Police Department is investigating a scuffle at a local charter school after an employee of the school said he was assaulted by NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, reports The Dallas Morning News. Sanders, a former Dallas Cowboys defensive back, is a co-founder of the Prime Prep Academy. Kevin Jefferson is an employee at the charter school and said he was in a faculty...

David Amerson, a rookie cornerback, begins to stand out for the Redskins

If the Washington Redskins manage to turn around their season from here they will be able to look back on the play rookie cornerback David Amerson made in Oakland in their most recent game as the springboard. Amerson’s interception and touchdown sprint got the Redskins back in contention in a game they trailed by 14 points putting them on their way to their first victory of the...

Dallas Cowboys are going to fight this week for Tony Romo

I feel really bad for the Washington Redskins this week.  The media has been dragging Tony Romo and that guy and the Dallas Cowboys are ready to take over.  The Cowboys players are ready to fight for Romo because he fights for them. “In my eyes, Romo is a fighter,” wide receiver Dez Bryant said. “I don’t […]

To Everyone in our Washington Redskins Nation: As loyal fans, you deserve to know that everyone in the Washington Redskins organization – our players, coaches and staff – are truly privileged to represent this team and everything it stands for. We are relentlessly committed to our fans and to the sustained long-term success of this [...]

Washington Redskins: second sinister level to why the name is racist

I love the play of RG III, and Hail to the Redskins is a great NFL fight song, but this is where we have to part ways. There are a few big names in sports media dropping the name Washington Redskins. Bill Simmons, Peter King, Christine Brennan won’t publish the name Redskins ever again. CBS Chicago blogger Tim Baffoe has joined the movement, and he’s convinced me to do the same...

Redskins' Alfred Morris confident he will play Sunday

It looks like the Redskins will have running back Alfred Morris back on the field this Sunday night when they square up with the Dallas Cowboys in a crucial NFC East showdown. Morris exited Washington's 24-14 Week 4 win over the Oakland Raiders in the third quarter with bruised ribs.Morris told Tarik El-Bashir of CSN Washington that "all is well" with him and his...

Cowboys' receiver Austin on track for return from hamstring injury

IRVING, Texas Cowboys receiver Miles Austin was again listed as a full participant in practice Thursday, giving a stronger indication that he will play Sunday against the Redskins. Austin returned to practice Wednesday after missing the last two games with a sore hamstring. His ability to practice on back-to-back days is a sign that his hamstring has healed. "Miles coming...

Dallas Cowboys: 2013 Week 6 NFL Power Rankings (#10)

Last week: 10 (+0) Record: 2-3 The Cowboys may be tied for the division lead, but they almost beat the Broncos and they are easily the best team in the division. With 5 games left against the worst division in football, starting with a home game against the Redskins this week, they could easily win 10 games. There will be a home playoff game in Dallas this year. The defense is not...

Miles Austin is a full participant in practice

For the first time in two weeks Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Austin who missed the last two games with a strained hamstring is expected to play in Sunday night's game against the Washington Redskins. Safety Barry Church (broken nose) was also listed on the injury report but he was a full participant in practice. Defensive...

Miles Austin Looks Good in Practice

The good news is that after missing the last couple of weeks due to a hamstring issue, Miles Austin looks good enough to return to the starting lineup. The news comes courtesy of Bryan Broaddus of the Cowboys official website. I have a strong feeling that, barring a set back during practice, Miles Austin will be starting at wide receiver opposite Dez Bryant when the Cowboys...

Tony Romo and #KillTheRing

Tony Romo is criminally underrated. When discussing the league’s top quarterbacks he’s never mentioned within even the top-10, yet in his five full seasons as a starter, he has finished fifth, eighth, eighth, fourth and 10th in passer rating. This year, he’s second, thanks in large part to a legendary performance last week against Denver. Yes, it was legendary. I don’t care...
