Breaking News - Brandon Myers, now formally of the Oakland Raiders, has just signed a contract to work for the New York Giants in 2013. The details of the contract are not yet known. NFL Impact - For the second year in a row, the Giants make a decent acquisition at the tight end position. In 2012, they brought in Martellus Bennett. That worked out well both for the G-Men and Bennett who now has a lucrative contract with the Chicago Bears. The Giants got a productive season out of Bennett but were now in need of a replacement. It seems as if they go through tight ends quicker than a local gentleman’s club on amateur night. But Myers, who had a huge breakout campaign in 2012 with Oakland should now come in as the default starter. The Giants do have another option in Adrien Robinson but he’s still seen more of as a project. For Oakland this will leave a giant hole to fill for Carson Palmer or whomever is throwing the ball. The Raiders developed Myers into a decent down-the-field target...
