Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre told the NFL Network’s Deion Sanders that if he had to start a football team, he’d take Robert Griffin III over Andrew Luck.

“Griffin, he’s smaller, but if I was starting a team, I’d probably of went with RG3 just because, if they can’t protect you, you got to protect yourself,” Favre said.

Favre also seems to like Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton.

Favre on bounties: “I really don’t care”

One thing we know about Brett Favre is that he wasn’t like most quarterbacks. He actually encouraged physical play, and took a beating throughout his career, and played through the pain over 19 years in the NFL. Robert Griffin III to be Played by Andre 3000

When they make the Robert Griffin III life movie, it is certain that he will be played by Andre Benjamin, who is now most known for his Schick commercial.  The resemblance is remarkable and the fact that they both can be called 3G solidifies the notion.  Coffee Black will become QB Red. I just coined the nickname 3G…..twice.

For one reason or another, some people actually think there should have been a debate over who to take number one overall.
