Denver Broncos defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson has has a dislocated hip and will miss at least six weeks, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The seven-year veteran will not need surgery but could miss the remainder of the season. Vickerson suffered the injury late in Sunday’s 34-31 overtime loss to the New England Patriots. Vickerson has 18 tackles and one sack in 11 starts this season. Interim head coach/defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio updated the media Monday on several other players that suffered injuries in Sunday’s loss. Running back Knowshon Moreno and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie are both as day-to-day.  Moreno’s ankle and Rodger-Cromartie’s shoulder injuries suffered at New England will not hold them out for an extended period of time. “I would say there’s a good chance by the end of the week you’ll see him on the practice field,” Del Rio said of Moreno. Del Rio also gave updates on a pair of Broncos that missed the Week 12 game at New England—cornerback Champ Bailey and tight end Julius Thomas. “He was close last week,” Del Rio said of Bailey. “I believe we will get Champ back, which will be great.” “I would anticipate we will get Julius back,” Del Rio added. “Those guys (Bailey and Thomas) were both questionable last week. At the end of the day, we felt it was in their best interest and our best interest that we wait one more week with both of them so they had to miss yesterday but they should be full-go this week.” The post Broncos injuries: Vickerson has dislocated hip, Moreno and Rodgers-Cromartie day-to-day appeared first on Sports Glory.
