For fantasy football owners of Knowshon Moreno and Montee Ball you lost points because your running backs aren’t good at Rock-Paper-Scissors. During the 4th quarter of Denver rout of the Oakland Raiders it was Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman who scored a chippie touchdown and it was all because he won a child’s game. From USA TODAY: As the officials deliberated if Hillman had crossed the goal line after a 13-yard gain, Hillman, Moreno and Ball decided to play rock-paper-scissors for which running back would get the goal line carry if the score was overturned. Hillman said Moreno threw down a rock one beat too early and was disqualified, and Hillman’s scissors trumped Ball’s paper. So on the next play, it was Hillman’s touchdown. I guess thumb wrestling would have been too time-consuming. Article found on: Next Impulse Sports

Ronnie Hillman Says He, Knowshon Moreno, Montee Ball Played Rock-Paper-Scissors to Decide Who Would Score

The Denver Broncos are going to have plenty of touchdowns to go around this season, but if there’s one group that’s going to miss out, it’s likely the running backs. Peyton Manning has 12 touchdowns through three games this season, and all his connections mean the rush may not get as many chances. The good news is that Denver’s running backs seem to have worked out how they’re...

The Denver Broncos running back trio used a game of rock-paper-scissors to decide who got to score against the Raiders (Credit: USA Today) Last night’s Monday Night Football game was nothing short of an embarrassment for the Oakland Raiders. Not only did they lose 37-21, but Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense drove down the field at ease in the first half. Manning ended the...

2013 Fantasy Football, Week 3 Monday Night Football Preview: Raiders at Broncos

Peyton Manning- photo by: Football-Austria - Monday Night Football for week 3 has the Oakland Raiders heading to Denver to take on the Broncos.  Sorry Raiders fans, but you may need to keep the rubber skull masks on for this one to not show face.  An awful Raiders secondary matched up against Peyton Manning and his arsenal of targets wont make for a good matchup. The bottom line...

Broncos RBs Played ‘rock, paper, scissors’ To Decide Touchdown Carry

The Broncos were so dominant in their win last night over the Raiders that their RBs Ronnie Hillman, Knowshon Moreno, and Montee Ball decided to play ‘rock, paper, scissors’ to decided who was going to score a touchdown in the 4th quarter: As the officials deliberated if Hillman had crossed the goal line after a 13-yard gain, Hillman, Moreno and Ball decided to play rock-paper...

Broncos running backs played rock, paper, scissors for last touchdown

The Denver Broncos have created a fantasy football nightmare with their crowded backfield. Knowshon Moreno emerged as the clear-cut starter with his breakout performance against the New York Giants last weekend, but Ronnie Hillman and rookie Montee Ball have still received their fair share of carries. On Tuesday night, the trio may have decided fantasy […]

Broncos running backs played 'rock, paper, scissors' to decide touchdown

The Denver Broncos put a whipping on the Oakland Raiders on Monday. Peyton Manning picked apart the Raiders defense from start to finish and the outcome of the game was never really in question. So, it should come as no surprise that the Broncos running backs, Ronnie Hillman, Knowshon Moreno, and Montee Ball, relegated themselves to a game of "rock, paper, scissors"...

The Raiders (1-1) have had an above average start to the season, shocking a few critics who felt they’d be the worst team in the league. We can all now agree that award goes to the Jaguars...

The Broncos Played Rock-Paper-Scissors To Decide Which Running Back Got A Garbage Time Touchdown

Monday night’s drubbing of the Raiders was too one-sided and predictable to merit a full recap. However, just to illustrate how horrific a beating it was by Denver, consider that their running backs played rock-paper-scissors to decide who would get a goal line carry in the fourth quarter with the Broncos already leading 30-14. That there is a comfortable lead.As the officials...

John Fox: Hillman was going in game despite RPS battle

With the Philadelphia Eagles already on his mind Denver Broncos coach John Fox played rock to scissors paper to rock in dispelling the idea his team's running backs decided who would get a touchdown carry Monday night by playing a game on the sideline. Following the Broncos' 37-21 victory over the Raiders several of the Broncos players referenced running backs Ronnie Hillman...

John Fox: Coaches Decide Who Plays, Not rock, Paper, Scissors

John Fox just had to go and be a Debbie downer didn’t he. The Denver Broncos are running the ball well this season, all while using a running back by committee approach.  Yesterday we reported on the cool story of Broncos’ running backs Ronnie Hillman, Knowshon Moreno, and Montee Ball playing rocks, papers, scissors to determine who would get the touchdown carry on the goalline...

Broncos head coach John Fox refutes rock-paper-scissors story

The Oakland Raiders are not very good this year. The Denver Broncos – well, they’re. So when the two teams faced off on Monday Night Football there was little doubt about the outcome of the game. However, there has been some doubt created as to how the team got there. For the most part it was pretty easy to see how the Broncos beat the Raiders 37-21. Peyton Manning was his usual...
