The Denver Broncos have released their first injury report for week one and WR Wes Welker was a full participant and appears he will play Thursday night against the Ravens. The final injury report for the Broncos will be released on Wednesday. When they release the injury report on Wednesday they will apply the probable-questionable-doubtful statuses so we may have a better understanding will will play and who won't for Thursday night.
Welker suffered an ankle injury earlier in the preseason and it caused him to miss the Broncos final preseason game, but that was just for precautionary reasons. Welker will be a big part of the offense for the Broncos, he will be able to help Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker get more one on one coverages, which will allow this Broncos offense to score a lot of points.
As Welker is set to play for the Broncos they still have question marks about cornerback Champ Bailey. He has been dealing with a foot injury and he did not participate in practice. We should know more about Bailey's situation later in the week, but if he isn't ready to go for week one it could be a big loss for the Broncos defense.
