It's not often that a region responds with angst to its team winning a football game, but that is exactly the case in New England.
Despite the Patriots slipping past the Jets with a 29-26 overtime victory on Sunday, there are plenty of Pats fans panicking, particularly because New England's defense -- especially the secondary -- continues to be an issue. And right now, that issue doesn't seem to have a solution.
Looking at the AFC, however, reveals that the Patriots are still among the conference's elite. The Texans look to be far-and-away the AFC's best team, but after seeing Houston trounce a banged-up Baltimore squad on Sunday, it's clear that the rest of the conference is fairly weak.
