The Browns secondary is the weakest part of the team’s defense, Joe Haden and TJ Ward are the only two players in the Cleveland secondary that are real threats. This leaves Carson one whole side of the field to make his. If the Raiders defense is able to bring pressure to the Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden the Raiders could force some turnovers of their own. Weeden has been known to fold under pressure and throw some interceptions. Weeden’s latest interception happened at the beginning of the Steelers game and resulted in a quick pick six for the Steelers. This is a battle between 2 teams that come into this game with 3-8 records. The Raiders have to make a statement in this game and they have to get a win. Carson Palmer has done well in his NFL career against the Browns, Carson Palmer spent eight seasons (2003-10) with the Cincinnati Bengals, AFC North division rivals of the Cleveland Browns. Palmer has faced the Browns 12 times in the regular season, posting a 9-3 record. The Raiders’ signal-caller has completed 249- of-396 pass attempts for 2,835 yards and 25 touchdowns vs. Cleveland. He will be looking to add to these numbers Sunday.
