New England Patriots tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez are the most dynamic pairing at their position in the NFL. However, Kansas City Chiefs TE Kevin Boss thinks that he teammate Tony Moeaki could become as productive as the Patriots pairing. A highly optimistic prediction.
Speaking to the Kansas City Star, Boss thinks the Chiefs can replicate the two-tight end set that the Patriots employ. “You see the success that the Patriots have had with a couple big tight ends. I think that’s something we can do here. I’m just excited to be here and to be with Tony, I think it’s going to be fun to play with him,” said Boss.
Strong play from the tight end position is in the Chief’s franchise history after having TE Tony Gonzalez line up for the club for 12 seasons, scoring 76 touchdowns. Gonzalez set the bar high for the position but Boss’s teammate, Tony Moeaki is coming off knee surgery.
