Found September 13, 2013 on Pro Football Zone:
Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com  reported this week that the Patriots called free agent Brandon Lloyd to try and get  him to come back. Last night Mike Silver of NFL.com claimed that the Pats never called Lloyd. Florio is still insisting that the Patriots called Lloyd. I tend to believe Florio in this case, but at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter if the Patriots called Lloyd because he doesn’t seem to be interested in playing right now.   Need NFL Tickets? Tom Brady on Pats offense: ‘We have a long way to go’

The New England Patriots are 2-0 after beating the New York Jets 13-10 Thursday night. But they punted 11 times and managed just nine first downs after leading the NFL in points and yards last season. “I’m glad we won, but we just obviously have a lot of room for improvement,” said Patriots quarterback

Tom Brady, Patriots Have to Be Patient With Rookie Wide Receivers, Have No Need to Add Veteran to Group (Mailbag)

The Patriots squeaked one out on Thursday night thanks to their suddenly stout defense. Tom Brady and the offense weren’t much help, providing just 13 points, all of which came in the first half. But there’s no need to panic yet. Basically every key piece is coming back and the schedule doesn’t get too difficult until Week 4 when the team travels down to Atlanta. It will be...

Tommy Kelly Wants to Prove Detractors Wrong With Fresh Start in New England by Putting in Extra Work

It didn’t long for Tommy Kelly to make his presence felt in New England. The 6-foot-6, 310-pound defensive tackle recorded his first sack with the Patriots on Thursday night. It took Kelly until Week 15 last season to finally get after the quarterback and bringing him down behind the line of scrimmage. That’s what this season is all about for the 32-year-old: getting a fresh...

Brady’s New Bunch

Tom Brady faces an interesting challenge on Thursday night, which is finding a new go-to receiver. Tight end Rob Gronkowski continues to rehab from back and arm injuries and wide receiver Danny Amendola, who was the Patriots’ leading receiver in week one, will likely not play tonight due to a groin injury. Also, running back [...] [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website...

Russian Football Team Offering Tim Tebow $1 Million For Two Games

Tim Tebow has no job offers coming here in the NFL, so maybe he should try his luck in Moscow. Mikhail Zaltsman is the owner of an american football team in Russia. Zaltsman, the owner the Moscow Black Storm, told the state-owned Russia Beyond the Headlines that he wants Tim Tebow. Zaltsman believes that if Tebow can show up in time to play in the semifinal of the American Football...

Tom Brady: I have to improve my body language

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his receivers had a frustrating night on Thursday. Dropped balls, slight overthrows, sloppy conditions, you name it, marred the productivity of a usually remarkably efficient offense. Brady ended up having an extremely sub-par night, especially statistically. For the first time in four years, Brady completed less than fifty […]The...

Aaron Dobson Will Make NFL Debut Tonight

After missing Week 1 with a hamstring injury, New England wideout Aaron Dobson will make his NFL debut Thursday night against the Jets.Fantasy Spin:Dobson and Julian Edelman will share time on the outside with Josh Boyce and Matthew Slater splitting slot receiver duty. Kenbrell Thompkins' poor outing in Week 1 has put him behind Dobson on the Patriots' depth chart.

Video: Jets and Patriots throw punches at end of Thursday night game

The New England Patriots outlasted a pesky Jets squad, 13-10, on Thursday night. However, New York did not go down without a fight - literally.

Zach Sudfeld Inactive For New England

New England will be without tight end Zach Sudfeld Thursday against the Jets.Fantasy Spin:Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski are also out for the Patriots. Sudfeld, who is battling a pulled hamstring, barely played in Week 1 and when he was on the field, he didn't look that impressive. The one time Tom Brady threw to him he was intercepted.

Thinking 'Bout Thursday - Patriots vs Jets

The New England Patriots should have won this game by a lot more than 3 points, but Tom Brady got no help from Aaron Dobson, despite the TD, which by the way was a beautiful play to watch unfold.  A couple drives later, Dobson dropped a pass while running towards the sideline and on the very next play, drops a deep pass that he had before falling to the ground.  There is a silver...

The good, the bad and the ugly of week two

It was another disappointing performance from the Patriots last night at home, but at least they are 2-0. Not all was bad though as certain factors did help in the win. Below are the good, the bad and the ugly of last night's 13-10 win over the New York Jets. Tom Brady Becomes Second Quarterback in NFL History to Throw Touchdown in 50 Consecutive Games

Tom Brady has been in some rare company throughout pretty much his entire career. On Thursday, he added another achievement to his already lengthy list. With his first quarter touchdown to rookie receiver Aaron Dobson, Brady joined Saints quarterback Drew Brees as the only two quarterbacks in NFL history to throw a touchdown in 50 consecutive games. Brees set the new record last...
