With an 0-7 start to the season, every Colts fan out there must be thinking “If only we had…”

Of course, everyone’s first answer to complete that statement is “…a healthy Peyton Manning.”  But that ain’t happening.

So, Colts fans, if you could pick another ghost from past Colts teams to ensure a Week 8 win against Tennessee, who would it be?

(Assume that player would be at his peak ability when he played for the Colts…but let’s avoid Johnny U…like Peyton, too obvious).

Give us the best answer, and even if the Colts lose again this weekend, you win.  How?  You get free food.  And we all know you could use a little of that to eat away the pain of the last two months.

Two lucky, witty winners will be chosen and will receive a $20 gift card to enjoy the brand new official restaurant of the Colts, the Indianapolis Colts Grille in downtown Indy.  Check out what you can find at this sweet new spot for Colts fans…or fans of any sport…or just anybody who occasionally likes to eat food and drink drinks, really.

  • 66 HD screens throughout, along with killer sound system
  • 32 beers on draft, 32 bottles, 32 wines, and 32 martinis and specialty drinks
  • More than 80 delicious menu items.  That includes a deep-fried cheeseburger.  Yeah, a deep-friend cheeseburger.

So, let’s hear it!  Think Bob Sanders could save you?  Or maybe  Jim Harbaugh could push a few people around? Marvin Harrison? Edge? Leave your comments below and we’ll award a winner to the best answer on Sunday…most likely at random, unless someone’s answer is just so awesome that it blows us away.

Could Jim "Captain Comeback" Harbaugh lead the Colts to their first victory of 2011?

Note: Neither I nor MSF received no compensation for writing this post. A friend of the site works with Indianapolis Colts Grille and gave us the chance to do a reader contest for the gift cards. We were happy to do so.
